The TG Foundation helps victims of rape [and their children] in the north-eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. Our aim is to financially support hospitals and other projects in the more remote or less developed areas of the Kivu region in the DRC that provide programmes for victims of rape. Our programmes primarily consist of: socio-economic, medical, education & food programmes.

The making of grants of money to parents or guardians of children undergoing treatment so as to facilitate and assist children being visited and accompanied and cared for by parents and family members who would otherwise suffer financial hardship or loss of earnings.

Raise money in support of our local hospital and community nursing services (e.g.midwives, mental health, school nurses and district nurses) for the benefit of patients and staff.

We carry out health promotion activities for young people and the elderly. We provide support to settle elderly people back to the community after hospital admission. We organise social events for elderly people, young people and those with disabilities on a weekly basis, to reduce isolation that may experienced. Through out-reach networking our volunteers liaise with widowed people for support

to attack and defeat the disease of cancer in all its forms. to purchase diagnostic and radiotherapy equipment for the Peterborough Hospitals. to support cancer research. to raise money on an ongoing basis to meet these objectives.

We provide transport for hospital, doctor's surgery & dentist appointments. In the absence of friends/relatives, we can accompany patients into the appointments. We can lend a mobility chair We can collect prescriptions All free of chargeWe provide transport to get Tillington residents to hospital & doctor's appointments.

We raise money to support young people with mental health issues. We do this by holding music events in Nottingham. We also organise other activities such as sponsored marathons and corporate events. We currently support OPUS which is an organisation that goes into hospitals to work with patients by engaging them in high quality music activities to the benefit of their health and wellbeing.

Provision of gifts & services to improve the medical facilities, environment/ambience and general effectiveness of Potters Bar Community Hospital

Financial help given to meet a particular need of former students having completed initial teacher training on Dartford Campus/The University of Greenwich and ex-members of staff. Payments towards the cost of provision of service or equipment for the sick and infirm, adaptations to homes of the disabled, fuel bills, travel expenses for hospital, care home or respite care visits.

Provide a hospital radio service. Raising funds for the radio station. Train and encourage young students on using and helping to maintain the service. Close links with local secondary schools and university. Interlink with other external organisations to do recordings of concerts, interviews, etc.

Providing an entirely volunteer run & managed FM Community Radio Station to the care and wider general communities within Taunton Deane boundary, and to anyone outside of the reach of the FM broadcast via the internet and dedicated smartphone app, including patients cared for within all hospitals in Somerset, to ease isolation, inform on important topics and provide general entertainment

To relieve sickness and infirmity by the provision of radio programmes for patients in local hospitals and residents in local care homes covering Brighton and Hove and the surrounding areas.

Our charity looks after stroke patients and their carers. When people come out of hospital after stroke once their needs have been assessed by social services and provided with all necessary equipment they are left entirely on their own. This means that because of their disabilities they are mainly confined to their home. We endeavour to bring them back socially into the real world.
