Radio Link was formed to provide a Hospital Radio service within the Derby area.Since 2008, the charity has been without premises, and is no longer functioning or seeking funds.A review has determined that the operation of the charity is no longer feasible in the Derby area.The charity is to be dissolved as soon as practicable.

We raise monies to provide finance for equipment requested by hospital management. We provide comfort and support for patients particularly the old and those with no family or living far away.

Anker Radio is a Hospital Radio Service staffed entirely by volunteers. Broadcasting music and information to the patients & staff of The George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton 365 days a Year - 24 Hours a Day. We are members of the Hospital Broadcasting Association.

The provision of recreational activities, primarily for the Staff of the Royal Liverpool & Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust

We persuade consultants employed at the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust to donate cremation form payments they earn to this charitable fund.We fund consultants' travel and accomodation costs to attend overseas conferences.We also support junior doctors to attend similar meetings to present their research and help with the costs of binding and submitting their PhD and MD theses.

Hospital radio broadcasting

Radio Phoenix broadcasts to staff and patients of Neath Port Talbot Hospital.

A fund established to give either hardship awards to parents of students at Chetham's School of Music who are in financial difficulties, or towards the maintenance of the Chetham's Foundation buildings.

Provides yearly grants to assist young residents of Welton, Lincolnshire, who are entering further or higher education.

General support to children and young people suffering with cancer who have been treated at Birmingham Children's Hospital and their families.This support principally takes the form of information, refreshments in clinic, trips, outings and holidays, the latter being primarily at the Society's holiday caravan sited in Exmouth.These activities are supported by general fundraising.

Caring for Cystic Fibrosis raises funds to provide relief to young people with Cystic Fibrosis and their families.It does this by providing funding to the Sheffield Health Authority to fund staff at the Sheffield Children's Hospital, by purchasing medical equipment for use in the hospital and at home and by providing funding to improve the facilities at Sheffield Children's Hospital.

Promotion of dental health and training of dental students in Africa.

We run social activites for our members, their carers and their families. This can be anything from meals out to games night, our members are in a safe environment with support around them. We also run information events at local Sheffield hospitals to raise awareness of Brain Injury.

To promote the relief of sickness through the provision of medical aid, financial assistance and other support to palliative care in the Kingdom of Swaziland and to achieve this by providing a screening detection, terminal care nursing service and education programme for health workers engaged in detection and treatment of cancer and caring for terminally ill patients.

To provide assistance to paitents and former patients of The Lambert Hospital, Thirsk and other invalids in the community who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped, infirm or in need of financial help; and generally to support the charitable work of The Lambert Hospital.

The Rowena Lodge 3180 Benevolent Fund supports Lodge members, Lodge widows and family members in cases of ill health or financial hardship. In the wider community, grants are made for local charities in the Dorset, Hampshire and Isle of Wight areas, for hospices, cancer care and adults and children with learning difficulties. The education of children from deprived backgrounds is also supported.
