THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY IS APPLIED ON THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE MANAGING TRUSTEES TO FUND RESEARCH PROJECTS WITHIN THE UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT OF OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY AT ST MARYS HOSPITAL, MANCHESTER

The funds are used for research into paediatric diseases, education of staff and for equipment, which would assist in the welfare of sick children within the area covered by the Wessex regional hospital board.

Funding to provide help, comfort, equipment and luxuries to Llanidloes Hospital and Community medical organisations.

Broadcasting to 5 local hospitals

Hospital Radio Bedside is an Ofcom-licensed community radio station, broadcasting under the name of Dorset Coast Radio. It provides accessible, inclusive and responsive radio broadcasting services to entertain the local community in and around Dorset. They provide content to inform, educate, and empower individuals and communities on matters relating to their health and well-being.

To provide assistance and relief to sick children and/or their families living in Kent and East Sussex, by way of financial support for, inter alia, but not exclusively, travel to and from Hospital, accommodation costs, or relief by way of a short term break, or any other such financial support as the Trustees see fit.

Our mission is to walk hand in hand with families of terminally ill children or bereaved parents, Helping and supporting them on their journey. Giving families the opportunity to create lasting memories through holidays and experiences, away from the hospital environment. Also offer financial support to help families be their with each other without stress or worry. We operate in Wales.

The GMPMVC gives concerts throughout the UK but mainly within the GMP area. By invitation, it has also sung in the EU.The Choir has been privileged to assist in raising many thousands of pounds for organisations and charities such as Scope, The Rainbow Trust, The Deep Sea Fishermen's Mission, Rochdale Springhill & Bury Hospices, Cancer Research UK as well as local churches and schools.

We raise money to support the treatment and care of people with digestive disorders who live in Suffolk, primarily in the Ipswich area. Money is raised by fund raising activities in the community and used to support the gastroenterology (medical/surgical) department of the Ipswich Hospital including with the purchase of equipment, staff training and out reach services.

The Trust has been set up to improve facilities and services for seriously ill children and their families in local hospitals to make their stay more pleasant and conducive to family needs.Fund raising events are held throughout the year to enable the Trust to raise a surplus of funds to be used to facilitate the improvement in quality of family rooms and bereavement services in local hospitals.

The families of children who have sadly passed away, and hospitals, hospices and special schools who support these children and families.The charity tries to provide, gifts, holidays, toys and medical equipment to support those we aim to help. Funds are raised in various events including running events.

The charity aims to develop and improve the capability of healthcare in Somaliland. This is done through training such as:1. Face to Face training sessions for healthcare workers in hospitals and medical and nursing students in universities2. Workshops for healthcare workers providing training in 'soft skills' e.g. communication and teamwork3. Train the trainer the programmes

Family First Ghana provides relief and assistance to families who have children with disabilities and/or ill-health. We improve access to services (e.g. therapeutic interventions, medical care, education, family support, specialist equipment) and work with schools, hospitals and NGOs to raise awareness of disability and medical conditions, reduce stigma and promote inclusion and accessibility.

Our aims are to provide support, information and help to all men with prostate cancer, their families and carers and was formed so that they can meet together to find out more about their illness and what treatment or support is available to them. ESPCSG is run entirely by volunteers and operates from the NHS Hospital Trust, Ipswich, for all prostate cancer patents in their catchment area.

To fund at the trustees discretion the purchase of medical, scientific or computer equipment as used in medical research , diagnosis or treatment or donation to a hospital whose activities are not carried out for profit.

Collects, catalogues and describes items of memorabilia that are put in boxes of about 10 items. Memory Boxes are distributed on loan to Nursing Homes, Care Homes, Day Centres and Hospitals for use in Reminiscence Therapy for the elderly and those with memory loss. We operate throughout Dorset and slightly venture into East Devon, South Somerset and Wiltshire. We offer talks.

Under the KDFAS' Young Arts scheme, the society has wholly or partly funded a variety of projects involving local schools and one with a young offenders? institution. The Society also donated funds to a local charity which works with children undergoing cancer treatment in hospital so that they could buy art materials. The amounts involved were ?1,363 (2015); ?1,237 (2014); and ?550 (2013).
