Raising funds by charitable events to purchase teddy bears, to supply children in distress at accident & emergency units at the following hospitals, Maidstone Hospital, Medway Maritime Gillingham, William Harvey Ashford, Queen Elizabeth Queen Mother Margate, and seven minor injury units around East Kent.

The Friends of the B.RI. provide a range of services to supplement the work of the Hospital. This may take the form of financial help, providing for example items of medical equipment that are beyond the budget of an individual ward or department. The two Tea Bars provide refreshment for outpatients and visitors . Non-financial assistance is given on wards and clinics throughout the Hospital.

Fellowship Baptist Church exists to promote the Christian faith. This is done through regular meetings for worship on Sundays as well as other meetings as needed. Our activities include preaching and worship as well as teaching events to increase the knowledge of the Christian faith. Other occasional events would be to support local and national causes such as Tearfund, Keech Hospice, and others.

Principal activities is advancement of Hindu faith and religious tolerance, provide & promote nature cure hospitals, provide vocational training to the poor girls and widows and provide scholarship to the poor students for further studies.

What we do:*We provide support and information to anybody affected by or concerned about lupus.*We raise awareness of the symptoms of lupus to encourage early diagnosis and reduce life threatening complications associated with the condition.*We raise funds to provide facilities, equipment and services for NHS hospitals and Foundation Trusts for the benefit of lupus patients.

The Friends run a small cafe, managed entirely by volunteers, which provides the funds to enable the purchase of amenities and equipment for all the patients who attend, and staff who work at Barking Community Hospital.

Our aim is to help and support patients with cancer who live in the Frinton on Sea area. We try to arrange transport for hospital visits including treatment for chemo/radiotherapy.

Heartbeat Support Woking provides a volunteer visitor service to cardiac patients while in hospital and on-going support in a social environment to ex patients, their families and carers. Promotes the charity's activities to achieve a greater awareness and understanding of the potential risks of heart disease and the associated conditions.

Broadcasting Radio programmes to the local hospital in Gosport and inhabitants of the surrounding area while promoting activities in the local community.

Street Pastors patrol the streets in Chesterfield Town centre on Saturday nights and seek to help vulnerable people reach home, help injured people access hospitals, care for and listen to those in need and assist the police as and when needed. Volunteers are well trained and always work in a team of three or four.

For people in need who dwell in the parish of Burnham, referred to us by Social Services. Citizens Advice Bureau, Burnham Health Centre, Schools, etc. We provide furniture, white goods, school uniforms, school trip funding, carer's holidays etc. We support the Burnham Lighthouse Project and Thames Hospice Care. We distribute about 300 christmas parcels at about £20 each.

GOOD NEIGHBOUR SERVICE MAINLY TRANSPORT TO HOSPITALS, SURGERIES, SHOPS ETC. & BEFRIENDING. HELP IS AVAILABLE TO ALL RESIDENTS ALTHOUGH WE ARE UNABLE TO TRANSPORT PEOPLE WHO ARE INCAPABLE OF GETTING IN & OUT OF A CAR WITH MINIMAL ASSISTANCE.
