Health Charities That specialise in Hearing loss

We raise funds in Europe to care for destitute and unwanted babies in the Indian countryside and in particular at our orphanage in Buldana. We also provide food for malnourished tribal children and make grants for blind/deaf/disabled children.

A Deaf Centre for Deaf/Hard of Hearing adults and children and their families. We support all deaf/hard of hearing. The Centre offers regular social evenings and events, BSL classes, an Audiology Clinic, Lip Reading Classes, Youth Group, Children's Club, Deaf Church Group. We are the only Centre for the deaf/hard of hearing in Cornwall.

Providing networking/support/social events for hearing impaired children and their children in the South Staffordshire region. Providing equipment to support children with their learning and engagement with the wider society. Supporting the local education Support Service for hearing impaired pupils who provide parent and pupil support events.

Music and the encouragement of young musicians is a key activity. Other grants in the England and Northern Ireland are mainly to medical causes with an emphasis on research and medical conditions affecting older people the care of people suffering from cancer including support for hospices and disability particularly deafness. In South Africa grants are given in areas of perceived need.

Sound Waves Foundation was born out of the need and want to celebrate deafness. Our mission is to improve accessibility and inclusivity for deaf children and young adults in the UK. We offer support to children and young adults aged 0-25 years of age with special educational needs and disabilities and their families in Derby City and Derbyshire.We do this by providing toddler play sessions, sensory swim sessions, messy play and craft sessions, sensory play sessions. BsL signed and relaxed panto, A lending library of books and equipment and general support and advice.

PDDCS is the Peterborough and District Deaf Children's Society and we do what we can to provide lots of activities for children who are deaf or have hearing loss in our area (which is anywhere near Peterborough). We do lots of cool stuff for kids from babies and toddlers all the way to young adults (who do it for themselves really) and provide for parents too...

Raising awareness and providing financial support for the children and staff of St Joseph's School for the Hearing Impaired in Makeni, Sierra Leone

Access to Communication is a vital need to have a sense of belonging and inclusion in society.

The trust provides grants to Charities in connection with improving the quality of life of persons in the United Kingdom suffering from visual handicaps, hearing impairment, terminal illness and the alleviation of poverty in other countries. Where practicable and reasonable the trustees pay such funds to Roman Catholic organisations.

The Association provides outings, parties, clubs and teaching, including British Sign Language and Deaf Awareness. Our aim is to support deaf children, their families and those actively involved in the welfare of children with all ranges of hearing loss. We will ensure children are supported in their home environment and in their social interactions.We will organise regular events that are inclusive for children with hearing loss to maintain friendships and provide families with a peer group.
