Fundraising activities to meet demands led charitable projects in Eritrea have been our priority. Currently the two main projects are i) in support of children and schools for the visually and hearing impaired, and ii) in support of education of students through the provision of suitable electronic devices.

An Association of Deaf and Hearing People who support each other and promote services for Deaf People within the community. The CDA recognises the rights and needs of Deaf people. We believe and acknowledge that Deaf People are a cultural and linguistic (Sign Language users) minority group.

Supporting Carers of people in the Ringwood area with physical, mental, or sensory impairment or illness, or incapacity through old age, by holding coffee mornings, days-out and luncheon-groups, promoting their needs with relevant agencies and disseminating information.

Help & Support of Hearing Impaired Children & their families in Dudley, West Midlands

To raise funds, invite and receive contributions inorder to provide and assist in the provision for equipments and facilities especially for the deaf and hearing-impaired children not normally provided by the Local Authority.

To provide facilities, experiences and equipment for Deaf children through fundraising and requesting contributions and grants that are not provided by the local authorities

South Tyneside Deaf Centre regular meet every 2 week on a Friday & every Monday at South Tyneside Deaf Club, 8 Charlotte Terrace, south Shields, Tyne & Wear, NE33 4NU. We meet regular to discuss the well being of the members through health and education that will benefit us also we do recreation for the well being of our members in the area of Tyne & Wear

TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS PEOPLE WHO ARE DEAF OR WHO HAVE A HEARING IMPAIRMENT BY HELPING TO REMOVE BARRIERS; PROMOTING INCLUSION; CREATING OPPORTUNITIES AND PROVIDING EDUCATION, COMMUNICATION AIDS, SPECIALIST SUPPORT AND ADVOCACY

School Parent Teacher Association for Mary Hare School for Deaf students. To provide funds for equipment, activities etc for the children at the school.

Outreach activities for children during weekends and holidays; parties, holidays trips, deaf awareness and other training seminars aimed at providing deaf people with social skills and so gain sense of belonging. Opening up a boarding primary school in Malawi providing mainstream education and special apprenticeship training and employment skills for deaf orphaned children.

Our aim is to offer advice and support to the parents, carers, families and the children themselves.Ensuring as far as possible that Deaf Children receive the best from modern medical and educational techniques at the earliest stage of their lives.Encouraging and educating the public as to the needs of Deaf Children.

We organise bi-monthly activities for deaf children in a deaf friendly environment. we also organise annual residential holidays enabling deaf children to take part in activities the same as their hearing peers. We give parents a well earned rest and enable deaf children to take part in activities that they may not be able to do due to the communication barriers they face on a daily basis.

We run a children's club meeting 6 -7 times a year for hearing impaired children (age 0 - 18) and their families. We run family activity days and trips. We are entirely self funded. We are associated with the National Deaf Children's Society.

MDUK PROVIDES EDUCATION, TRAINING AND INTERFAITH DIALOGUE FOR DEAF MUSLIMS THROUGHOUT THE UK. MDUK RAISES AWARENESS AND PROMOTES THE NEEDS OF DEAF MUSLIMS FOR ACCESS TO CULTURE AND SOCIETY THROUGH ELIMINATING COMMUNICATION BARRIERS.

We provide deaf children and their families with opportunities to come together and socialise by activities such as parties, pantomime tickets and visits to places of interest. We also provide much needed equipment such as vibrating alarms clocks, flash doors bells, minicoms etc.

PROVIDE EVENTS TO HELP AND GIVE ADVISE TO PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH HEARING LOSS. ARRANGE DAYS OUT AND ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN. PROVIDE FUNDING FOR A PLAYGROUP FOR THE CHILDREN TO ATTEND EVERY FORTNIGHT.

Norfolk Deaf Children's Society supports deaf children and their families throughout Norfolk. This is done primarily through regular newsletters, meetings, events, activities and trips, and through its equipment fund.

Our key objective is to further, in every way allowed by law, the education and relief of deaf children without regard to race religion creed disability sex or family circumstances. We organise fun events, provide a great network of families, hold fund raisers and offer support to deaf and hearing impaired children and their families in the Swindon & North Wiltshire area.

The objectives of the Charity are, with particular emphasis on developing countries, the relief of persons with ear disease, hearing impairment or deafness and the preservation and protection of hearing by promoting activities for the prevention, mitigation or relief of avoidable causes of ear disease, hearing impairment and deafness and for the conservation of hearing.

WDCS operated in the worcester area and provides activities for deaf children and their families throughout the year.

The trust supports deaf people who wish to continue or return to study.It does this by making small cash grants to individuals, to buy books and equipment to support them in their studies, and to organisations that work with deaf people.

The Shropshire and Mid-Wales Head and Neck Charity has been established with the aim of providing facilities, equipment and training to treat patients (children and adults) with Head and Neck conditions. This includes ear and hearing problems, nose problems, cataract and eye problems, mouth and throat problems as well as major head and neck cancers.

The Club meets once a month to provide social and recreational facilities for the hearing impaired and to keep them informed on services and resources available in an atmosphere sympathetic to the hard-of-hearing. We have talks, slide shows, outings, craft sessions etc. and, where appropriate, we hire a speech interpretation service where a computer operator types what is being said onto a screen
