Health Charities That specialise in Hospice

We make donations and grants to applications generally from Aylesbury and the surrounding areas. We raise funds through can collections, providing BBQs in support of local community and charity events. We have supported Hearing Dogs, Florence Nightingale Hospice, SeeAbilty, Christmas food parcels for the disadvantaged elderly, Young Carers, Women's Aid and several more.

PROVIDING RELIEF TO THOSE IN SICKNESS, INFIRMITY OR OLD AGE AMONG PERSONS LIVING IN STAFFORDSHIRE WHO ARE NOT SERVED BY ANY OTHER HOSPITAL RADIO ORGANISATION, BY PROVIDING A LOCAL BROADCASTING SERVICE FOR HOSPITALS, HOSPICES, RESIDENTIAL CARE HOMES AND SIMILAR INSTITUTIONS

One third of yearly income to Parochial Church Council. Financial Assistance to Hopton residents in need. Local Charities and local organisations benefitting Hopton Residents (ie Hospice and Air Ambulance)

DISTRIBUTES FUNDS ANNUALLY 2-4 TIMES, TO ASSIST PRIMARY MEDICAL CHARITIES AND ASSOCIATIONS INCLUDING HOSPICES, HOSPITALS WITH A LINK TO CANCER AND RESEARCH.

Receives donations from members of the Association (all being Freemasons) and then distributes them to charities (whether or not registered) at the direction of the members.The recipients may be individuals, charitable organisations, hospices, hospitals, churches, old peoples homes, special schools, disaster appeals and the like.

Relief of poverty and illness. Help in disaster areas. Re-building of schools in third world countries. Supporting research into education, childbirth, and diseases in general. Supporting Children's hospices. Collaborating with other charities. Any other areas the trustees think are worthy of support.

We raise funds by way of sponsored events, and participation events, such as Quizes and Bridge evenings, for the specific support of 3 charities; The North London Hospice, Ovarian Cancer Research at the Oxford University, and Singing for Memories run by Jewish Care.

Donations to overseas projects, children's hospices and various other local charities

The principal charities and/or community services currently supported are Garden House Hospice for North Hertfordshire, Mary's Meals (Uganda), Home Start , and Disaster Relief generally.

Providing donations for various good causes both locally (i.e. Senior Citizens festive parties, schools and churches) nationally (financial support for hospices, hospitals, etc.) internationally ( Eye camps, water aid, disaster funds etc.) by fund raising activities from a Christmas Float collection, easter egg draw in local pubs, annual charity golf tournament and Teddy Bear draw in local pubs.

The charity helps relieve sickness amongt the poorest communities by providing assistance with clinics, hospices and hospital for the benefit of general public. The charity organises educational activities and training centres.

Current activities are periodic donations to charitable causes in the UK. Largest donation in the year to 5th April 2015 to St Christopher's Hospice.

The charity operates in London and Surrey raising funds to provide treats children and the families of children undergoing cancer treatment at the hospitals and hospices in the locality

This charity supports theological learning through maintaining a theological library and offering grants to students who meet certain ecclesiastical conditions. It also makes grants to hospices.

We perform concerts mainly at local churches and church halls to allow them to raise money. We also have our own fund raising concerts and part of that money is donated to the local charity's such as Halton Haven Hospice.At our Christmas concert we donated to the charity Zoe's Place Baby Hospice. These performances take place mainly on Merseyside and in Cheshire.

The Dransfield Foundation is a charity which aims to help children and young people under the age of 18 years of age. The charity has identified specific priorities they wish to support, which include children disadvantaged by ill health or terminal illness, hospices and hospitals, educational projects, and research projects into the effectiveness of new medical treatments.

Provision of financial aid and Christmas decorations to Children's Hospices

We are a small charity run by volunteers, helping to raise awareness of colon cancer and helping the sick to remain at home, if desired. We raise our funds by manning stalls, home parties, events and donations. We currently fund home hospice services, awareness raising campaigns and information leaflets.

We hold monthly indoor meetings with speakers who educate and entertain us on a wide range of subjects, and we go on outdoor meetings to local places of interest. We raise money for members to go on courses at Denman College. We join in local events and raise money for local causes eg our local childrens hospice.

We run a shop specially for childrens cancer hospices adult hospices.

The majority of our members are widows or people living alone. Our main activities are invited speakers on all cultural subjects. Educational outings. Separate functions to donate to other charities ie hospice & childrens causes. All members of NAWC.

We take part in friendly discussions, often of national concern, make new friends, discover new and improve old interests. Campaign on national issues, support local hospices and local charities
