Operation Eyesight is an international development organization working to prevent blindness and restore sight. We collaborate with our hospital and government partners in low- and middle-income countries to invest in sustainable eye health treatment, blindness prevention and community development. We currently have programs in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia and Zambia.

PROIDING HEALTH CARE

The charity will recruit fully qualified UK medical and allied healthcare staff usually fromthe NHS to travel to Eritrea on a regular basis for a short duration to provide healthcare to thelocal population in hospitals around Eritrea and provide training or education to localhealthcare professionals and/or students

Relief of sickness in Pakistan in general,including specifically the construction and maintenance of hospital and pharmacyfacilities in the region of Azad Kashmir.

Provide support to families with children suffering from Cancer by funding complimentary therapy service comprised of a Complementary therapy Nurse Specialist (CTNS). Provided at the children?s hospital beds at GOSH or within a complimentary therapy room. Families can also benefit from speaking with the nurse about their treatment. Building container clinics and erecting them in Africa. Supplies donated by hospitals, and the public incl. PC's, mobile phones and clothing, to medical supplies,and educational materials. Music, drama and arts events in the UK. Exchange community programmes in Sussex, and Kenya, and Gambia, including underprivileged and disabled people. Exchange teaching of the arts in both countries.

The Charity was developed and launched by its three trustees Gillingham FC Chairman Paul Scally, The Evelina Children?s Hospital?s Paediatric Heart Surgeon Dr Conal Austin and Paediatric Cardiology Consultant Dr John Simpson in 2012The newly formed charity encompasses the work of Mercy Mission which was started in 2001, and acquired charity status in 2005.

The Trust offers support to children with life limiting or terminal illness (and their families). We provide equipment at home and whilst in care to aid the child's prognosis. We offer transportation assistance for out patient appointments away from the child's usual hospital and hotel accommodation for accompanying family. We offer seed funding grants for translational research.

We are a charity which aims to improve laboratory medicine in Africa.TREATMENT STARTS WITH DIAGNOSIS.We are based in the UK and aim to improve health in Africa by supplying laboratory equipment and providing training and volunteers to laboratories, clinics and hospitals serving the public.

Action For Hydrocephalus works directly with neurosurgeons/healthcare professionals in developing countries or areas lacking in adequate treatment of hydrocephalus. We provide clinics and hospitals with neurosurgical equipment and work with surgeons and doctors, providing educational and practical support as well as training.

Impilorevival is involved in fund raising activities such as dinner parties, sponsored walks and monthly subscriptions from members and friends of the charity. Chances for Children UK is devoted to supporting Chances for Children Foundation in Kampala, Uganda. The foundation is 100% financially responsible for 55 orphans who have been rescued from slums, hospitals and left with no family support at all. The goal is raise funds to support these children through childhood and give them a solid grounding in life. Our end goal is total self sustainability.
