Restore is an information and support group for women contemplating breast reconstruction following a breast cancer diagnosis or those who have a faulty gene BRCA. We run Show & Tell events at Hospitals in East Grinstead, Dartford and Worthing where ladies can come along, meet women who have already been through breast reconstruction and see the results of their surgery in the flesh.

To liberate women, men, and children, from stigma and from being dehumanised in under resourced mental hospitals in East Africa and the damage to their human dignity, their human rights and then to place people back into community with support,care, and opportunity. To help and support people who are struggling with the destructive effects of institutions and asylum life mental hospitals.

Our charity has a specific purpose to benefit patients at the Anxiety Disorders Residential Unit at the Bethlem Royal Hospital, Beckenham, Kent. It may also assist in the training and education of staff at the unit. We raise funds by donations and from charitable trusts.

The relief of sickness and the preservation and protection of good health among the inhabitants of Nigeria by assisting inthe maintenance, support and equipping of a free hospital (The Aramed Centre) for those who could not otherwise affordor access medical treatment or services.

Current activities of the society.1. Maintaenance of the public play ground at Kaluwanchkudy Sri Lanka for the use of the children there.2. Maintenace of the huts in the school run by the members of Kaluwanchkudy Welfare Association Kaluwanchikudy branch Kaluwanchikudy Sri Lanka3. Recently we have started an eye care project based at Kauwanchkudy Base Hospital, Kauwanchikudy Sri Lanka.

This year we donated life saving equipment to Castle Street maternity Hospital Colombo. Mainly a premature baby ventilator, Incubator and ten pulse oximeters. In addition we have been supplying dialising catheters and solutions to needy patients with Chronic Kidney disease.

Monitoring by two reliable part-time Charity Wardens of 19 full time & 14 assoc. av age 91 at home. Daily telephone checks. Visits as required but minimum weekly.Early problem intervention and help provides relief from suffering & better outcomes. Practical help is immediate and frequent according to need, often supplementing other agencies if involved. eg, Hospital discharge early arrangements.

We financially support the NHS run Whitworth Hospital (Community Hospital) and Orchard Cottage (Short Break Residential Unit for people with Learning Disability), both in Darley Dale, Matlock, Derbyshire. Items of equipment and larger projects such as car parking and departmental refurbishments over and above those supplied by the NHS are funded by us through legacies and donations received.

The main aim of the charity is to provide food and provisions for families whose children are receiving end of life care in their own homes, in a hospice or in hospital. The charity is a much needed resource in the community to address the need for immediate practical support for extremely vulnerable families.

Holbrook Swim promotes community participation in healthy recreation in particular among children and young people living in the Holbrook area by providing facilities for the teaching, development and practice of swimming at all levels of ability over 2 evenings per week during school term time at Royal Hospital School, Holbrook, Suffolk

Makes grants using income from trust fund:- (A) Principally to support Christ's Hospital pupils who otherwise would be unable to afford participation in cultural, career-development or sporting trips for which they have been selected and which would be beneficial; (B) Advancement of education in any other manner the trustees may think fit.

The charity continues to hold regular Sunday services, which remain central to our activities, with a focus on preaching the Word. Additionally, we conduct home and hospital visits, deliverance and healing services, and offer family counseling. We also organize music rehearsals, youth evangelism training, support for members, and collaborate with other churches to foster a faith-led community.

Is currently working with families to support disadvantaged children in higher education and working with local hospitals to provide respite breaks for families with a child suffering with cancer . Based at a farmhouse in NE Suffolk.

We raise money through fund raising events to help children with life threatening conditions and their families. We also have a lovely Holiday Respite caravan for poorly children and their families to enjoy quality time together away from the hospitals.

Local Charity providing services mainly for the housebound, elderly and young people wishing to find a particular service in the area ie transport to hospital or doctor which falls outside the normal car service provided, help with shopping, gardening etc. Short term provision of food for those experiencing a temporary break in benefits, or, for whatever reason, are unable to buy food.

African Hospital Libraries sets up and supports health information library services in Sierra Leone. We select and ship high quality and context-relevant books and educational resources. We implement a standard system of library membership and borrowing. The libraries are free to join. We employ local library staff to manage the services. We work in partnership with local stakeholders.

To assist in the relief of sickness and the preservation and protection of good health of children with brain tumours and their immediate family. To fund necessary posts for the complete rehabilitation services at Addenbrooke's Hospital and to support them from the day of diagnosis.

Provide funds to cover improvements to Burnham On Sea hospital for the benefit of patients and staff or to purchase equipment for use at the hospital.

The League receives good financial support from individual businesses and local organisations such as the local Rotary Clubs, churches, etc. This means regular updating and purchase of additional major equipment has taken place. Since the new hospital was opened in 2004 in excess of £1,000,000 has been raised, which has funded some major pieces of equipment as well as many smaller items.
