The purpose of the Society is the creation and broadcast of radio programmes for the benefit and entertainment of the Trust's patients, their families and friends, staff and volunteers together with the wider community supported by the Trust.

The Society provides grants and equipment to the County Service for Hearing Impaired Children, schools, hospitals and individuals; we also organise outings and events for the children and their families. TO SUPPORT THE WORK OF PENRITH COMMUNITY HOSPITAL

A HELPING HAND FOR DISABLED AND ELDERLY PEOPLE AND THEIR CARERS IN BYFLEET AND WEST BYFLEET. VOLUNTEERS CAN PROVIDE TRANSPORT TO DO SHOPPING, GO TO DOCTORS OR HOSPITAL, GO VISITING ETC AND MAY BE ABLE TO CARRY OUT ODD JOBS.

Provide transport for our less able clients to take them to hospital appointments and doctors surgery. We also take them shopping, to stroke clubs, hairdressers and dentists. These trips are carried out with our team of volunteer drivers.We also have a caring arm of Downton Link mainly befriending our clients who have lost their love ones or are lonely

The choir raises money through a fund-raising Christmas Concert in order to support a local Hospital, Health-related project, charity or organisation. The selected beneficiary varies each year, and the choir rehearses for the Concert from September to December.

Holding regular Lectures, arranging visits of artistic and cultural interest, working as volunteers at local museums and libraries, encouraging participation in art in schools and hospitals

We fund the installation of stair lifts, wheelchair ramps and other domestic aids for people diagnosed with cancer wishing to leave hospital. PROVIDES HELP AND SUPPORT FOR BABIES AND PARENTS IN THE SCBU AT WREXHAM MAELOR HOSPITAL WREXHAM

Organised Camp from 3-8 December 2006 by Shri Ramdev Swami, attended daily by over 1500 people to learn Yoga to alleviate common diseases, improve health and well-being.We provide financial support to children, the elderly, schools and hospitals in Bhuj District, India - during COVID donated masks to Meghpur Villagers, 100 oxygen cylinders to Bhuj Hospital, fitted Sanitisation units in school

A hospital broadcasting service ("Hospital Radio Reading") for the Royal Berkshire Hospital. Patients are visited in their wards and can phone in free from the bedside to take part in programmes. A live and interactive service of record requests, football commentaries & other entertainment (45 hours per week) is augmented by a non-stop automated service of music, news & information at other times.

Promoting and facilitating access to Education and Health for the needy in Pakistan, directly and with registered charities through student sponsorship at all levels , and supply of equipment, computers, sewing machines, library furniture and such to schools, medicines and medical equipment to hospitals, and support for free cataract camps.

Support cardiac patients and their carers.Supply equipment & bursaries for hospital staff within the cardiac unit

The object of the group is to boost the morale of both patient and their families by providing support, guidance and advice by maintaining contact by meetings, social events and provide advice from professional Speakers at monthly meetings. We also support cardiac rehabilitation programmes and make donations from time to time to the Cardiac Units at the two main Nottingham Hospitals.

To work to enhance the quality of life for people in the local community affected by ill health, disability or old age. Also to support the care and well being of patients/users at Savernake Hospital and other local health care facilities, local G.P. surgeries and help to improve the medical provision for these patients/users in the Marlborough area.

The League supports the Williton NHS hospital by donating equipment and giving grants to improve facilities for the benefit of the hospital's patients. Income consists mainly of donations, legacies, interest from deposits, and fundraising activities.

When covid related restrictions allow,supply tea/coffee & biscuits every Saturday & Sunday for visitors at Eryri Hospital. Arrange a coffee morning with stalls yearly. Purchase whatever is needed for benefit of patients at Eryri Hospital.

Provision of transport to the disabled/disadvantaged to enable them to use medical services at hospitals and medical practices. Visits to opticians, dentists etc. Localised shopping, clubs etc.

To support and raise funds for patients had/having surgery or treatment for Breast Cancer in Glan Clwyd Hospital, Bodelwyddan, Denbighshire.

we are currently the only U.K registered charity dedicated to help and support pre and post patients and thei families who are affected by multi organ and small bowel transplants through-out the U.K. We provide support in many ways such as financial and emotional support whilst the patient is in hospital and ongoing support when the patient is at home.

Education about Islam, primarily for converts and those with an active interest in the faith.Provision of training and information for community service personnel who are likely to come into contact with converts to Islam (eg, for mosque staff and volunteers, hospital and prison chaplains, etc)

Support for education and research towards children's wellbeing led by the Children's Orthopaedic Department of Alder Hey Children's Hospital

We have four full time Romanian persons working in the Brasov area in Romania. One helps in the Children's TB Hospital,the other three organise the distribution of the aid that we send by lorry from Bridgwater. They vist and help a variety of people, from the old to the very young, take long term hospital patients on outings etc. All of the workers are Christians & promote Christian values.

TO PROVIDE SAFE AND TIMELY TRANSPORT FOR OUR SERVICE USERS. WE TAKE SERVICE USERS TO HOSPITAL, DOCTORS, DENTISTS WHERE EVER AND WAIT FOR OUR CLIENTS AND RETURN THEM HOME.
