Carmarthenshire Therapy Dogs started in 2015 we recruit volunteers working with their dogs supporting people in their own home, in residential homes, hospitals, dementia settings bringing comfort, reducing loneliness and isolation. We also provide therapy dog visits to groups, special health units and children and young people, we have automated pets for people, where real pets are not allowed.

To provide support and services for the elderly and bereaved in Westgate, Westbrook and Birchington geographical areas particularly in the following ways: -. Transport by way of a car, including transport to doctors' surgeries and to hospital appointments.. Provision of food and social support.. Care support to those in need.. Provide Minibus transport to our Church and Voluntary services

Provides support to Jewish expectant mothers in NW London, before, during and after childbirth. Highly trained doulas accompany the "mums to be" to hospitals around London and give them continuous emotional and physical support throughout labour.Loans equipment and provides advice and information via a resourse library and information packs.Subsidizes transport costs to and from hospital.

Volunteers provide transport for the elderly frail to hospitals, surgeries and clinics. They also undertake shopping, befriending and the occasional odd job.
