FUND RAISING FOR THE PURPOSES OF SUPPORTING RESEARCH INTO CHILDHOOD BRAIN TUMOURS, CAUSES, EFFECTS AND TREATMENTS. IN ADDITION THE CHARITY CAN PROVIDE TRAVEL GRANTS FOR TREATMENT AT THE DESIGNATED HOSPITAL; AND IS CURRENTLY FUNDING SHORT RESPITE BREAKS TO SUPPORT BOTH PATIENTS AND FAMILY. LAUNCHING RETURN TO EDUCATION PATHWAY BRAIN INJURY STUDENTS.

Support people in hospitals,. hospices and detention centres with befriending ,giving moral support ,helping with chores such as shopping and gardening for the elderly in England ,sourcing clothing ,toys,sporting and educational equipment and developing selfsustaining projects for the disadvantaged communities in Zimbabwe. We also help pay fees for some disadvantaged children.

To relieve patients and former patients of Molesey Hospital and other invalids in the community who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm and generally to support the work of the hospital

Our main activities: 1.The prevention or relief of poverty and sickness in rural communities in Zimbabwe by providing or assisting in the provision of education2.The advancement of education for school age children: School fees and school equipment projects.3.The relief of sickness and preservation of health of people living in rural communities: hospital/ community facilities renovation.

The Leicestershire Neurological Trust provides funds for individuals within the university hospitals of Leicester to pursue individual educational and research activity in the area of neurological disease. It also funds equipment to enable individuals to pursue these activities.

To equip and train doctors to work voluntarily with the ambulance service at the scene of accidents, medical emergencies, major incidents and transport to hospital.Raise money for equipment and fund extended training for the doctors.To encourage extended training in immediate care for local GPs, nurses and paramedics.To encourage first aid training locally for members of the general public.

The Friends raise funds to conserve and maintain the Hospital Chapel of St. Mary & St. Thomas of Canterbury, the oldest building in the London Borough of Redbridge, cca 1145 AD.In addition to regular religious Services, we ensure the Chapel is open to the public byholding Open Days with guided tours, as well as concerts, recitals, history talks etc.

Our objectives are to assist in the relief of poverty and deprivation of orphans, primarily for providing housing, education ,healthcare and welfare. We have upgraded\are upgrading buildings at the orphanages in Ooty and Ketti and have completed a childrens HIV ward at St Xaviers Hospital, Namakka. We have arranged emergency food payment to cover spiraling food costs.

Provide broadcasting services to the patients of Weston-s-Mare General Hospital

Within the Ecclesiastical Parish of Studley cash grants are paid to individuals and organisations to further the education and religious education of young people and for the relief of need generally in times of crisis. In support of their ancillary activities grants are paid to hospitals and homes for the elderly and the disabled. An annual maintenance grant is paid to the Parish Church.

League for the period of 1.1.09 to 31.12.09, funded 48 concerts in the homes, give a Capita Grant of -ú25, so every resident received a Christmas present/party. In addition, in line with the Charity Commissions thought, we had a surplus of -ú3000 which we divided equally between the two trusts to re-fund, resulting in a wide variety of objects purchased for the benefit of the resident.

The purpose of the charity is to relieve the suffering of sick, injured and orphan wildlife and wherever possible to rehabilitate back to the natural habitat .The charity is also dedicated to the public benefit by the provision of education, welfare and rehabilitation of wildlife to relieve the suffering of wildlife and to encourage respect and tolerance in order to promote ethical conservation.

The trustees hold four regular quarterly meetings each year when the trustees consider applications referred to them from various local sources including local medical practices, the local hospital, Social Services, The Citizen Advice Bureau and other local charitable and voluntary organisations.

The Friends of the Rosie have been in existence for the past 50 years. Our aim is to raise money to buy comforts and equipment that the NHS cannot provide for mothers and babies both in the hospital and in the district. We run stalls selling knitted goods. We can always use any offers of help and new volunteers to support our work.

The aim of WOC UK is to educate and train personnel to treat and rehabilitate injured and disabled people in the developing world. Members of the association periodically travel to the countries in need of such help to conduct the programmes. In Cambodia funds are utilised for hospital construction. Current actives are in Ethiopia, Malawi & Ghana.

Preaching, and teaching the bible to local church members, evangelism, house fellowship centres, faith clinics, ministering to the sic at homes and hospital visitation, counselling and mentoring members, especially drugs and alcohol addicts, youths, and any other activities related to the church activities.
