To seek to ensure the preservation of the building and curtilage of the Parish Church of St.John the Baptist,Puttenham,Surrey for the benefit of the public as a building of historic and architectural importance by raising funds for the execution of capital projects designed to improve its amenity and to advance the education of the public as to the importance of maintaining the building's heritage

To acquire, restore and preserve ex-British Rail diesel shunters although a small number of non-ex British Railways other vehicles are also in this category.

The maintenance and upkeep of all facilities on the Recreation Ground to enable outdoor activities i.e football, sporting facilities for the local school, bird watching, including a play area for children all of which are available to the village of Bamford and surrounding areas

The charity holds Great Haseley Windmill which it is restoring. It plans to open the Mill to the public by appointment during the construction period and ultimately to use the Mill as a place where the history of windmills can be studied.

The charity's purpose is to manage the Village Hall. In that respect it raises funds through various charitable events throught the year and through the letting of the hall. The funds raised are used for the upkeep and repair of the Hall.

AIMS TO BE OF SERVICE TO THE CHURCH IN THE DIOCESES OF DURHAM & NEWCASTLE BY:PROMOTING THE RINGING OF BELLS FOR CHRISTIAN WORSHIP AND ON OTHER APPROPRIATE OCCASIONS;RECRUITING AND TRAINING RINGERS;ENCOURAGING THE ART OF CHANGE-RINGING;HELPING RINGERS TO IMPROVE THE STANDARD OF THEIR RINGING; ANDASSISTING WITH THE CARE OF RESTORATION OF BELLS AND THEIR FITTINGS.

To restore, preserve, maintain and display the Edward Birkbeck, Winterton No 1 Lifeboat 1896-1925, being of historical and constructional merit and accepted onto the National Historic Ships Register No. 2379 and to advance the education of the public in all aspects of its construction and use, including the provision and maintenance of a Heritage Centre as her permanent home.
