Serving the church in the diocese of Truro by encouraging members to ring for services and on other appropriate occasions, promoting care and restoration of rings of bells and their fittings, and in other ways.

Church House, Crowcombe, provides in its medieval Gallery a venue for exhibitions, courses and social functions. A Meeting Room is also available for smaller events, including educational.

To raise funds for the repair and maintenance of St Anne's Church, Kew, we have organised concerts, lectures and other events. We have contributed money for the repair of the flood-prone forecourt, and to restore the church's dilapidated South Porch. We have paid for new floodlighting to enhance the appearance of the church and its security and to restore several important tombs.

Financial support for Little Malvern Priory, especially towards the maintenance and repair of the fabric and the furniture and fittings of the church.

This charity provides health services which include eye catoract operations, general medicine for all age groups. Currently it is providing this service to eighty villages in Punjab, India.

The Palmerston Forts Society acts as a forum for research on the Victorian Fortifications of the Portsmouth area and the U.K. A journal is published each year. The Society arranges work parties and educational programmes of lectures, talks and visits to forts. A section of the Society is the Portsdown Artillery Volunteers who regularly perform authentic Victorian gun drills and firings.
