IT ALSO RESCUES, RESTORES & DISPLAYS ITEMS OF HISTORICAL OR TECHNICAL INTEREST RELATING TO POYNTON'S HISTORY WITH EMPHASIS ON THE LOCAL COALMINING INDUSTRY & INDUSTRIAL ARCHAEOLOGY.

To educate the public by its promotion, support, assistance, and improvements of the Burton Art Gallery and Museum, Bideford, Devon, through the activity of a group of Friends.
