To collect, preserve and display, in our museum, any item which furthers knowledge of local history. To carry out and publish research. To provide lectures, displays and information to organisations, individuals & schools.

The principal activity is the preservation of railway locomotives by voluntary means.

We help to build the collection, and conserve and display items in the Sierra Leone National Railway Collection. We promote and organise meetings, lectures and events to foster interest in the SLNRM. We edit and publish of data, information, reproductions, books, periodicals, papers and pamphlets relating to the museum. We encourage the study of railway transport in Sierra Leone and its history.

The Yoruba Foundation was created to provide a social, cultural and educational platform for Yoruba's and for people of African origin in the UK and make more accessible Yoruba Art's and Culture to a wider audience worldwide through visual, conceptual and performance arts mediums in its traditional and contemporary forms.

The Cardiff Museum Development Trust fundraises to make sure the Cardiff Story Museum can deliver a range of activities for all ages and interests - be that our Dinky Dragons sessions for babies and toddlers, our schools programme, our work with diverse communities, our dementia friendly activities across the city or our interactive galleries that tell the story of Cardiff and its people.

Dereham Heritage Trust manages the development, care and conservation of the collections in the Town Archive, arranges displays in Bishop Bonner's Cottage Museum, which it staffs with volunteers from May to September each year, and arranges monthly meetings open to members and non members (small fee charged).

Charity has acquired and stores a comprehensive historic archive of photographs, documents and artefacts relating to Radlett and the other parts of the Civil Parish of Aldenham. These are available to anyone interested in the history of the area. Radlett & District Museum also puts on displays of selected material in other locations, arranges talks and gives guided tours.

The Trust runs and administers a heritage museum.

The Friends of Bruce Castle provides volunteers to help at events and functions, we assist the museum to raise funds for specific projects, we publicise the work of the museum and its history and educate the public about the building's significance. We also raise our own funds in order to be able to help the museum to purchase small artefacts.

The charity owns and makes available to the public a collection of Roman antiquities.

The Friends of Berwick and District Museum and Archives support, and promote use by the public of Berwick Art Gallery and Museum and Berwick Record Office. This is achieved through several means. Local history and the work of the Record Office and Museum is promoted via a website and annual lectures; volunteers contribute to projects, help at events, and raise funds to support our aims.

The school has participated in many activities this year to enhnace the children's education including trips to the theatre, Ripley Castle, Yorvik Centre, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Bagshaw Museum, Oakwell Hall and Crucial Crew. The Y6 children took part in aweek long residential to Northumberland and Y4 children a weekend in Malham.

THE CHARITY SUPPORTS THE MUSEUM OF SOMERSET BY MAKING SPECIFIC DONATIONS TOWARDS THE PURCHASE OR CONSERVATION OF OBJECTS. THERE IS A MONTHLY PROGRAMME OF HIGH QUALITY, INFORMATIVE AND INTERESTING TALKS HELD AT THE MUSEUM AND OCCASIONAL VISITS TO PLACES OF INTEREST.

To promote, help and support Blackburn Musem and Art Gallery by raising money for artifacts and conservation, promoting the use of the Museum and Art Gallery, and providing volunteers for special work.

Lady's Creative Centre is a charity to help women from different backgrounds/cultures to release their talent and find a place in the community. Activities include classes in painting/drawing (for both members and tenants of local estates), and in Spanish, yoga, craft. Also fundraising, social & special events, exhibitions, and a dolls house museum. It also helps priority and disadvantaged people.
