To advance public education by the provision of a Welsh Museum of Health and Medicine. To raise funds and to invite and receive contributions, artefacts and archives. To present, promote, organise, manage and produce exhibitions, conferences, lectures, tours and seminars. To co-operate with Governmental Agencies, Local Authorities, Universities and other charitable organisations.

General charitable purposes

With effect from 1 January 2010 all the activites, assets and liabilities of the Trust were transferred to to The Royal Signals Museum, a charitable company (Company no. 06460179, Charity no. 1133304), under a scheme dated 15 December 2009.The trust has therefore ceased to operate.

MUSEUM

On 1/4/13 the operations and net assets of TWT were transferred to Canal & River Trust (Charity No. 1146792) and TWT ceased trading. Previously working to promote greater public enjoyment of the UK's waterways by raising funds for waterway restoration, conservation, recreation and education. Operations included The Waterways Archive and Designated inland waterway collection in our 3 museums.

Choreographer's Gallery exists to promote contemporary dance through supporting the research of choreographers and by disseminating the research to the general public.

The Trust conserves and safeguards a social history collection relating to the history of Woking, Surrey.

To provide an educational resource and archive of information about the history of London Bridge from Roman times to the present day, and in time to establish a permanent display illustrating this history. The immediate project is to build a virtual online museum.

Providing care and access to the Trust's museum collections. Organising educational and public events.

We have provided funds for display boards in the Museum which we trust will reopen at Easter of this year - one year late. Shropshire Council has cut back its museum service drastically. We continue to hold funds in reserve, awaiting a resurgence of cultural activity.

Education of the general public and promotion of the life and work of the artist Dr Arthur J. Fleischmann. This is done by holding exhibitions and events and through the Arthur Fleischmann Museum.

To assist The West House & Heath Robinson Museum Trust in the preservation of West House in Pinner for the benefit and education of the inhabitants of the London Borough of Harrow and the public in general. The house will also provide Museum space for the works of William Heath Robinson and the Pinner Books of Remembrance commemorating those who lost their lives in two Word Wars.

The museum is housed in a building erected in 1785 on the site of the charity school attended by James Cook between 1736 and 1740. It features a reconstruction of an early C18 schoolroom and interactive displays show his voyages of discovery. Visitors can learn how to use a sextant and see the education system that provided the starting point for the great navigator, explorer and chartmaker.

London International Gallery of Children's Art organises children's art exhibitions and run educational art workshops for local schools, community centres and the broader community.

We provide artists with a friendly non judgmental place to show their work. Up to 20 exhibitions are staged each year of which at least 3 are open where a theme is set and artists can submit up to 3 works. There is no selection process for these since we feel that having produced a work it should be exhibited. The gallery is run at cost entirely by by volunteers who take little or no expenses.

Yes Africa has organised many community activities such as Rainbow Festival, Heritage Media Project in Partnership with Croydon Museum and Museum of London, Driving Skills Training, and Job Search Skills Training.We have also run a Home/School Linkage Project consisting of mentoring children and visiting parents at home. Willing to collect computers for Democratic Republic of Congo.

Northern Canon raises funds to buy fine art created by contemporary artists working in the North of England and also makes the charityÔÇÖs collection available to members of the public (including making the collection available for public gallery exhibitions and by loans of individual artworks to businesses and other organisations).

We provide a range of educational, leisure and recreational activities for Somali women and children in Liverpool.These range from trips to museums, parks, the seaside, holiday activities for children and sports and arts activities.With new Somali families settling in Liverpool, and most families living in households where no-one works, we try to ensure a good quality of life for young people.
