Our ambition is to persuade people of the huge benefits of following Jesus Christ. We are the church for those who don't go to church: we visit the homes in our neighbourhood week, a street a week, offering friendship. We also offer language class, mums and toddler group and youth group. Our core members also meet to hear the Bible read and explained, and to pray.

Church and Christian charity. It operates mainly within Plymouth and from time to time other parts of the United Kingdom. The charity runs an active youth club and a variety of other daily activities serving the local community. The church offers two Sunday services, together with weekly home groups.

To relieve financial hardship and to advance the education of children by supporting the Matthew Rusike Children's Home in Zimbabwe

Services offered include home visiting service,cookery/handicraft/social and computer skills sessions, hold a monthly book club. We have a resource centre with specialist equipment. Produce a newsletter and a talking newspaper. We provide information to access benefits/allowances/health care services and assistance with paperwork. People can self-refer or use our drop-in/telephone enquiry service.

We provide sheltered housing for the elderly with priority given to local residents or those who have relatives living locally

Provide 11 bungalows, each for single occupancy by widowed or single women of pensionable age, who are able to look after themselves, and who are eligible for housing benefit.

Leaside is an open, welcoming church, seeking to live out Christian discipleship in worship and mission, providing:public worship, open to all; a home for community groups; pastoral care as needs are known; active support for initiatives eg Street Pastors; weekly community drop-in, including bereavement support; welcoming especially the elderly and those with special needs.

Facilitating social inclusion activities with older people living in residential and nursing care homes, and community based wellbeing activities which also includes marginalised and isolated older people and their carers from their own homes.

Provides accommodation for seafaring families over 60 years of age.

Copperdale provides a home for homeless young people aged between 15 - 24, providing 24 hour a day support and aims to empower marginalised young people to gain better life chances. An additional project, The United Estates of Wythenshawe, provides an alternative community centre which is open to all ages including young people who are at risk of becoming involved in gangs and poor life choices.

Providing support through community hospitality to vulnerable asylum seekers in the West Midlands, including:- Hosting Network: short term accommodation for destitute asylum seekers in the homes of volunteers- Family Befriending: befriending scheme for young refugees living the UK without their families

Provision of Almshouse Sheltered Housing

British Sikh Council UK helps the poor who need food, clean water, education, housing, reducing the usage of drugs and alcohol and setting health and eye camps. The British Sikh Council UK wor within a community called the Sikligar Vanjara Sikhs, The forgotten Sikhs. Their aim is to spread the message of A secular state where all are equal irrespective of caste, creed, colour and country.

Fairweather is a small dynamic registered charity supporting vulnerable adults and children. Fairweather's works in areas of housing, support and resettlement people in need of housing, security, emotional and psychological support . Community support to adults and families, wellbeing, allotment work with service users, community integration and clean up are other areas of our work.

Hangleton Community Association runs Hangleton Community Centre. It offers a wide range of activities from Groups meetings to Circus, Soft play facility for younger children, Sama Karate, Fitsteps, Short Mat Bowls and more. It is a fantastic space for birthday parties all at a low cost. The Centre is accessed by many local residents of all ages and is home to a number of community run groups.

Founded in 1956, NSDF is a unique and precious thing, a charity that has helped generations of talented young people of all backgrounds find their home within the arts. NSDF is for all 16-25 year olds. The Mission of NSDF is simple but vital: to empower and inspire young talent and ambition, to teach skills, to help launch careers and build the audience of tomorrow.
