The objects of the charity, as amended on 15 June 2004, are the provision of care for persons in need, mainly in the inner Plymouth area, and the trustees may relieve those eligible for assistance by making direct grants or providing goods and services and by making grants to other persons or bodies who provide such assistance.

The Trust is for the benefit of poor people who through ill health, disability or old age are unable to earn their own livelihood; for educational and training purposes; and for the benefit of hospitals, nursing and convalescent homes or similar objects for the advancement of health or saving of lives. Accommodation/Housing

The Church holds weekly services on Sundays at 10:15 am and 6:30 pm. A service will include singing of Christian hymns, prayer, reading from the Bible and a talk where some one will help us to understand what God is saying through the Bible; there are separate classes for children. We also have small groups that meet in homes during the week to study the Bible and pray together.

Furness Refugee Support provides support to refugees and asylum seekers living in the Furness geographical area. We provide practical support helping people to create a home, attend appointments, learn English, liaise with other agencies. We also facilitate community engagement through a range of activities. We also support those in camps overseas through donation both financial and of clothing.

The training of young people in teamwork and mutual respect. Activities include first aid,home safety, cooking and outdoor pursuits eg.football,swimming,camping, orienteering.

The Charity is an Almshouse which provides eight properties housing older people in Doncaster.

For the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of equines, who may be old, neglected, abandoned or otherwise, in need of care and attention, and in particular to provide and maintain rescue homes and other facilities for the homing, care and treatment of such equines.

uS supports young people aged between 12 and 25 with or at risk of developing mental health difficulties, helping them to become physically active and transform their lives.uS currently delivers on an outreach basis, funding sports and other fitness activities to small groups and individuals. In addition to this offer, uS plans to open a centre, housing sports and fitness and other facilities.

Co-ordinates and supports activities of Women's Institutes in Bedfordshire. The Women's Institutes undertake activities to enable women interested in issues associated with rural life to improve their education in citizenship, public questions, music culture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare and to improve rural life.

Center for homeless and disadvantaged people. Open five times a week, providing meals, food parcels, clothing and help and support in accessing appropriate help around issues of housing, benefits, drug & alcohol addiction.

The activities of the charity are to support the provision of housing for the relief of those in need, the advancement of education and the advancement of health.

Provision of housing namely 'Westfield Village' for the benefit of disabled and necessitious ex-service/serving members of the armed forces and dependants.To relieve persons in conditions of need and hardship where relief cannot be provided by public funds within a reasonable time. Swarthmoor Area Meeting is a worshipping community of Quakers. Our resources are used to maintain our meeting houses, to support local Quakers in need, to support Quaker causes more widely and to help those in need in the wider community.

The Charity provides both religious and secular support for the local community.Religious support takes the form of regular weekly services as well as weddings and funerals and seasonal activities as the occasion arises. Secular activities include provision of facilities for Parents and toddlers, local youth, and ministry to local homes for the elderly. Facilities are provided for community use

The provision of low cost houses and flats for rent to persons in need, with preference being given to those born or who have lived for the last 10 years in the former borough of Launceston. Such charitable purposes for the benefit of the residents as the trustees decide.

The Society responds to the needs of visually impaired people in the Harrogate district by providing among other things:- a centre for social activities, handicraft training, educational classes,home visiting,information about hospital eye clinics, a telephone befriending service, counselling, display of aids for the blind and outings.
