A neutering service is also a major part of the charities work. Feral cat colonies are also trapped and neutered and returned where possible to their original site. The charity works closely with other similar like minded charities in the Powys area.

Wake House Arts and Community Trust, manages on behalf of the local Community Wake House which is a Grade 2 Listed building in the Centre of Bourne.Once the Home of the Couturier Charles Worth, Wake House is now home to over 40 Arts, Community and Educational Organisations which provide a range of Cultural,Educational & Support services for the population of Bourne and the surrounding villages.

The charity promotes humane behaviour towards dogs both in the UK and Romania, by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment, safe shelter and security for dogs in need by reason of mistreatment, abandonment, poor circumstances or ill usage. We actively seek homes for rescued animals and advance public understanding of dog welfare by providing training support to adopters

The trustee's objective is and remains the provision and maintenance of the almshouses for persons in need who are resident in the parish of Menheniot. The overwhelming majority of applicants for houses or apartments are retired persons. However, the trustees consider applications from younger single persons or from residents out with the parish to maintain continuity of occupation.

The organisation will aim to assist those who suffer from poverty by providing a helping hand to remove financial hardship who suffer from poor living standards, neglected homes, poor educational prospects. The charity will assess each circumstance of individuals and decide whether to help financially or act as an educational support entity, targeting various age groups in third world countries

For the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of dogs and cats in Serbia which are in need of care and attention and in particular, to maintain and support rescue facilities for the reception, care and treatment of such animals and to provide these facilities for such animals while actively seeking new homes for rescued animals. Providing foster/adoption homes for Hungarian Vizslas throughout the UK, maintaining lifelong contact with every re-homed dog, ensuring that those dogs need of veterinary care/attention receive the appropriate care and treatment before re-homing, promoting responsible ownership and responsible breeding of Hungarian Vizslas. Also organising/supporting fundraising activities.

The activities of the charity:- a referral service assessing,signposting and supporting women to access the advice and guidence they need to benifits,immigration and housing;- drop-in sessions where women from diverse ethnic backgrounds;-A range of tergetted services e.g A food co-op,ESOL classes,cycling,swimming,mental health services.

Each Sunday both our morning and evening services are open to the public for Christian worship. We also hold midweek meetings for Bible study and prayer, a childrens club, and a mums and tots group. We take a monthly service at the local care home, and our pastor takes school assemblies.

Currently the charity is undertaking the following activities:1) Food aid programme donating food to homeless e.g. Mother Teresa homes, soup kitchens and poor families2) Working with other charities to deliver food to Balkan, Africa and Phillipins3) Disaster relief: helping people affected by disasters worldwide4) Providing clothing to refugees and poor villagers in Asia and Europe

To rescue and rehome stray, abused and unwanted English Springer Spaniels and to care for them until appropriate new homes are found.

A not-for-profit cat rescue group run by volunteers. We rescue and, if possible, re-home ill-treated and unwanted domestic and feral cats and kittens, and those who are elderly, with special needs and FIV+. We are a "no kill" organisation and if a cat is unhomeable due to age, temperament or health condition we keep that cat in care for the duration of its life.

Providing food and accommodation to homeless people within the local catchment area. By March 2023, we have completed 80 nights of homeless sheltered provision including beds, meals, showers and clothes washing drying support, packed lunches, assistance with housing applications etc and signposting

To use the income from the rent of two cottages for the maintenance of the cottages and adjoining Old School building. Any surplus to be used towards the upkeep of St. Olaf's Church, Poughill, Bude.The School is used by children's organisations in Poughill, a lunch club and meetings for the elderly. Regular meetings of the Parochial Church Council, gatherings following funerals etc.

Hauxton Pre-school was established in 1976 to provide pre-school play and learning opportunities for village children. The setting maintains a good reputation for providing a caring and stimulating environment for all children. This allows children to settle and adapt from being away from home and to take part in structured activities with other children.
