Hold fellowship with Christians in songs, prayers and sharing of bible passages. We do visit Hospices, Hospitals and Cares Home to carry out services. We do provide financial supports to other charities and help to expand support base of our chosen charities in our annual event

A Registered Social Landlord with six (6) almshouses capable of providiing accommodation for 6 elderly individuals or couples who have lived in the village of Drayton or have had some close association with it.

Fund raising to purchase equipment, lay on entertainment and events, and provide "those little extras" for the Residents of James Terry Court, which is an elderly persons' home.

The charity gives women the opportunity of working together & to develop their education. Bursaries are given to attend Denman, the NFWI residential college where arts, crafts, sciences and home economics are taught. Weekly and monthly activities are enjoyed by members. Tai Chi, Country Dancing, Book Club, Drama are some of the activities in which we are involved.

Our activities support home-educated teens, especially those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), through tailored education and mental health programmes, fostering community connections, and promoting inclusivity. We provide family support, resources, and nature-based learning to enhance personal growth, reduce isolation, and improve well-being.

We are a disabled self-help group that run a series of day centres for all types of disabilities. Transport is provided to help them get to and from the centres. This in turn gets them out of their homes and to socialise with other disabled people in their area.

The charity provides housing/accommodation for the elderly in the Wellington and Nynehead areas of Somerset.

The village hall provides first class facilities at an affordable cost to local organisations, clubs and is home to 30 local groups. It is also used for private functions, family parties, children's parties etc. The committee raises funds to keep hiring fees down by fund raising which includes jumble sales, car boot & table top sales and antiques fairs.

Housing the homeless

Riverside Christian Mission helps to finance Schools, Children's Homes, Churches, Christian Workers, Medical work, Skills training, Children's work, Relief of poverty and other needs of very poor people in the third world.

NB4U befriend 'lifer' Prisoners in local prisons. The Co-Founders and volunteers visit 10 prisoners every month We accompany them on ROTL's and Home Leaves. We attend Parole Hearings and on release meet them 'at the gate' and take them to their Hostels providing essential items. Our motto is 'Befriending Prisoners, mentoring Ex-Offenders so they NEVER re-offend again' and it works!

WE RUN BOAT TRIPS ON NORTHAMPTONSHIRE'S WATERWAYS ON OUR SPECIALLY EQUIPPED WIDE BEAM BOAT FOR LOCAL GROUPS OF DISABLED AND DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE OF ALL AGES AND FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE FROM CARE HOMES. THE SERVICE IS RUN BY A GROUP OF VOLUNTEER CREW AND RELIES ON VOLUNTARY DONATIONS.

We rescue and rehabilitate parrots in need of help or a new home for whatever reason and provide help to the public when they can no longer manage their birds . We provide education and advice to assist the public in keeping their birds and promote good husbandry and humane care and understanding of these birds . We also take in found birds and try to reunite them with their keepers .

Create and distribute pyjamas and surgical gowns specially designed and approved by hospitals, sewn by volunteers, to hospitals and UK children. Help children and families feel more comfortable whilst the child is undergoing surgeries or treatments in hospital, other health facility or home. Initial gown and/or pair of pyjamas are provided free of charge to the family subject to a postage charge.

We exist to help people grow and develop their relationship with God and people. We believe the family is the basic unit of all society and through building strong families we will have a stable and prosperous society and nations. We visit homes and workplaces for pastoral care, evangelistic teaching and outreach to strengthen them in the Christian faith.

For the public benefit, the relief of those in need by reason of social and economic disadvantage who are (i) forcibly displaced and have lost their homes as a result of violent conflict or catastrophe or (ii) living in areas lacking necessary infrastructure, in particular by the supply of emergency shelters, longer-term housing, medical centres, schools, and community spaces.

Children & Young People Projects/Actvities: 300 vulnerable young people are provided with educational,training,community services and development activities each year. Cultural, Community Cohesion and Heritage Programmes and Health Projects are provided to improve communities quality of life.International Project: 10,750 people and 100 families provided with housing and medical aid in Pakistan.

TO ALLEVIATE THE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP SUFFERED BY THE FAMILIES OF SICK CHILDREN IN THE UK, WHERE THE CHILD'S ILLNESS REQUIRES THEM TO REMAIN IN SPECIALIST HOSPITALS A SIGNIFICANT DISTANCE FROM THEIR HOME FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME. THIS WILL BE ACHIEVED THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL GRANTS TO HELP COVER COSTS SUCH AS TRANSPORT TO AND FROM THE HOSPITAL AND/OR THE COST TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATION.

Provision of almshouses for elderly people
