To provide accommodation for older people who are in need and who live in the Bradford and Harrogate area.

The main activity of the charity is the promotion of social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing adults with learning difficulties and/or additional needs including mental health from becoming socially excluded from society, relieving their needs and helping them to integrate in to society. We work with a variety of day and home care providers to offer opportunities every day..

THE CHARITY ASSISTS ORPHANED OR VULNERABLE YOUNG PEOPLE IN RWANDA BY PROVIDING ACCOMMODATION, FORMAL EDUCATION OR VOCATIONAL TRAINING. THEY LIVE IN THE ?FAMILY HOME?. THEY ARE TAUGHT KEY LIFE SKILLS SUCH AS FOOD HYGIENE, BUDGETING AND PERSONAL HEALTH. THE AIM IS TO EQUIP THE YOUNG PEOPLE SO THEY WILL BE ABLE TO MOVE OUT INTO THE WIDER COMMUNITY AND INDEPENDENTLY MAKE A LIFE FOR THEMSELVES.

The charity exists to provide housing in eight pre-existing bungalows. The objects are to maintain these properties for current and for future residential use.

The income from the Trust is applied for the purpose of advancing the work of deaconesses and female deacons within the Diocese of St Albans under the guidance of the Lord Bishop of that Diocese.

To relieve poverty, sickness and distress amongst the poor people and young children including education . Also provide financial help to the poor and needy people specially orphans, widows and disabled.

For the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of dogs in need of care and attention and in particular, to provide and maintain rescue homes or other facilities for the reception, care and treatment of such dogs.

Provide accomodation / housing

The relief of those in need by reason of age or disability in Bedale and the surrounding area by the provision of a meals on wheels service to assist elderly and disabled people who are unable to prepare hot, nutritious meals themselves thereby helping them to live independently in their own homes.

As custodians of the Motor Tug Brocklebank on behalf of the Mersey Maritime Museum, the volunteers maintain this historic vessel in a mechanically and structurally sound and smart condition, all necessary insurances, surveys and dues being paid and bring credit to the museum when both in and away from her home port.

Provision and maintenance of a rescue home for cats in need of care and attention. The charity provides veterinary aid, food and shelter to cats and re-homes them responsibly with new owners.

Provision of four houses for accommodation.

We raise money to support a school, a children's home and a day centre for children with learning difficulties, and to alleviate need in the community, all in southern India.

ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM (INCLUDING PHYSICAL EDUCATION, PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING) IN PARTICULAR THOSE IN FINANCIAL NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS; AND/OR THOSE WHO HAVE OR FEEL THEY HAVE EDUCATIONALLY UNDERACHIEVED; AND/OR THOSE FROM BROKEN HOMES/FAMILIES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PROVIDING TUTORING, TRAINING AND MENTORING

To advance the Christian religion on an ecumenical basis in the social housing estates of England and Wales for the benefit of the general public, through conferences, literature, online resources and a network of local groups, to support Christian ministry and enlighten others about the Christian religion.

To provide advice and information on welfare benefits, immigration, housing, education, employment, training, debts, health, finance, nationality, businesspassport and other areas as necessary. Also to provide advocacy for clients.To organise community events such as Independence Day, Eid Celebrations, International Mother Tongue Celebrations.

Finding legal support for asylum seeker applications and supporting refugees to obtain the right to remain and or gain citizenship. We assist refugees applying for benefits and emergency housing.We maintain and develop links with donors to provide household items and clothing for refugee households in York and partners in Bradford, Wakefield and Hull.

In addition to continuing to provide administration services to related charities and rented social housing, it has received a significant gift the larger part of which has designated towards property acquisition.
