WE REHOME GOLDEN RETRIEVERS WHEN THEIR OWNERS CAN NO LONGER COPE AND SUPPORT OLDER GOLDEN RETRIEVERS IN FOSTER HOMES. THE CHARITY HAS A STALL THAT WE TAKE ROUND VARIOUS FETES RAISING MONEY TO HELP WITH MEDICAL COSTS FOR THOSE OWNERS WHO CANNOT AFFORD VETERINARY FEESFOR THE OLDER GOLDENS THAT THEY HAVE GIVEN NEW HOMES TO.

Provision of affordabale housing in the form of almshouses for the public benefit

The Charity oversees five almshouses, collects weekly maintenance contributions from the five occupiers, and maintains the properties in a good state of repair, and looks after the welfare of the five lady occupants. The five houses are 139-147, Church Lane, Marple, Stockport SK6 7LD.

We support: elderly people with food, medicine and wood, a Christian Centre & Music School, 2 Children's Programmes, 3 Children's Homes, a Homeless Shelter, a Child Development Programme. a school project, disabled children plus individuals and families in need. We give practical, spiritual and financial help to poor families and act as an agent in sponsoring children.

Offering assistance to the needy at home and abroad by donating aids in various means especially in disaster areas e.g the Haiti appeal. Members who become needy e.g through loss of employment receive assistance with their bills etc. Assistance is also extended to non-members. The public is always encouraged to attend meetings. Monthly contributions made to the Christian solidarity worldwide.

PROVIDING RESOURCES, AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR FAMILIES TO MEET TO DEVELOP SUPPORT NETWORKS AND ENABLE SKILL SHARING; PROVIDING THE OPPORTUNITY FOR CHILDREN TO MEET, DEVELOP SOCIAL NETWORKS, FRIENDSHIPS AND A PEER GROUP; ORGANISING PROGRAMMES OF PHYSICAL, EDUCATIONAL AND ARTS ACTIVITIES AS A MEANS OF DEVELOPING THE SKILLS OF FAMILIES ENABLING THEM TO PARTICIPATE AS FULLY AS POSSIBLE IN SOCIETY.

The Charity is focused on improving the lives of farmers and rural communities in overseas areas and assists with the building of schools, education, housing, water and wellbeing.The Charity will also consider projects in the UK and abroad which improve the lives of local communities in relation to health, housing, education and wellbeing.

The vesting of the land and buildings known as Frant School and the School House property and the maintenance of its status as a school and the management of School House, is still in the process of change with the sale of School House & the cessation of the school. The changes will be presented to the Charity Commission in due course to assess their accordance with the Charity Commission Scheme.

Expand focuses in Malawi, Africa and facilitates education through infrastructure development and trainings. Having completed construction of a number of schools in the North of Malawi, Expand builds infrastructure such as teacher's houses, blocks, hostels, libraries and IT centres and promoting modern ways of learning for children in its schools.

HOUSING FOR ELDERLY

The charity provides housing and facilities for up to 12 elderly ladies in 12 flats at 58-80 Mill Road, Deal. They pay the Trust towards the costs of repairs and maintenance and towards the heating costs. The charity's outgoings include heating (gas), repairs and maintenance, insurance, water rate and any necessary refurbishment costs when a flat is vacated.

Cosheston Mission Church holds worship services every Sunday at 10:45am and 6:00pm as well as a weekly Bible study and prayer every Wednesday at 7.15pm. There is a Sunday School during the morning service and a weekly children's club called Challengers. There is also a monthly Women's Meeting as well as an occasional meeting at a local old people's home.

Supports national charities,& local charities in NE & SE England. Interested in people with physical or mental handicaps: improving quality of life through equipment, activities and holidays;the young: with emphasis on improving prospects of employment by education and meaningful activities; health: improving quality of life of the ill, their carers and the old at home or in hospital.

Just Whippets Rescue rescues, re homes and rehabilitates whippets in England and Wales through a network of foster homes.
