TO PROVIDE ALMSHOUSES AND OTHER HOUSING FOR POOR PERSONS OF GOOD CHARACTER RESIDENT IN BRISTOL

Silth's Sanctuary rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes or returns abandoned, stray, and feral animals, particularly cats. We are run by volunteers and operate through a series of foster homes. We mostly operate within the central Liverpool region, but rehome nation wide.

Providing and maintaining housing

BUDS, initially formed as a communal group in 1986, became a registered charity in 2000. BUDS has a multifaceted mission providing education and foster care support to children, livelihood opportunities, supporting the elderly, low-cost housing initiatives, addressing malnutrition, and conducting drug awareness and prevention programs for the deprived community in the Eastern part of Sri Lanka.

Management of Almshouses which provide homes for Parishioners who might not otherwise be able to afford and maintain their own home.

The charity administers the running of six small cottages for the occupancy of the poor or needy.

To relieve in cases of serious illness, assist with convalescence support, assist young people with educational travel and support training for young people in the retail trade, members in hardship and need those eligible persons who are members, family and staff of the NFRN (National Federation of Retail Newsagent) in accordance with the guidelines contained within the NFRN rules.

Accommodation for elderly people on a limited income with a housing need who live within, or have a connection with, the local parish.

As a local Church we aim to teach and preach the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, that "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." the Bible John 3 v 16. We gather for Bible study, worship and prayer. Support missionaries at home and overseas. Work with children and adults on our local housing estate.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH INCLUDING PASTORAL CARE, SOCIAL ACTION; CHILDRENS ACTIVITIES, CLUB FOR THE POOR, THE ELDERLY OR LONELY, VISITATION TO HOMES, OVERSEAS MISSIONS, WORKING TOGETHER WITH OTHER CHARITIES AND VOLUNTARY BODIES, COUNSELLING, WOMEN'S MEETINGS, PROVIDING CHRISTIAN RESOURCES ONLINE AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE.

IHOMSA provides a less formal link between home and school. Much of our effort is focused upon sociable, fund-raising activities such as Summer/Christmas Family Nights, Discos and Coffee Mornings. This additional revenue is put to good use throughout the school, mainly purchasing extra-curricular resources.

RAISING FUNDS FOR ACTIVITIES OF MUSTARD SEED COMMUNITIES IN THE COUNTRIES WHERE IT OPERATES; CURRENTLY IN JAMAICA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, NICARAGUA ,ZIMBABWE AND MALAWI. OUR MAIN FOCUS IS NOW ON RAISING FUNDS FOR ZIMBABWE, WHERE WE ARE RUNNING HOMES FOR AIDS ORPHANS AND FEEDING PROGRAMMES FOR CHILDREN. WE ALSO SEND VOLUNTEERS TO WORK IN MUSTARD SEED LOCATIONS, MAINLY IN JAMAICA.

We finance research projects into finding the cause of rare childhood cancers. We also provide holidays at our caravan in Norfolk for any child or young person in the UK battling with cancer to use. Our holiday home is for families to enjoy quality time together, creating memories to cherish forever.

The provision of financial support to "Counties" evangelists working primarily in Hampshire but also elsewhere. Such work involves promoting the Christian faith to various groups of people in schools, churches, pubs, cafes, homes, youth clubs, camps and other venues. The provision of practical and administrative support for the running of outreach events.

Silsoe Young Farmers is a youth group run by the members for the members to advance their education in argiculture, home crafts, country life and related subjects. Joining in with local village activities to become an active part of the community. Improving mental capacities, self-reliance and individual responsibilities.

To give financial support to the residents of Sunridge Court, an Old age home in London

The provision of sheltered accommodation within an almshouse charity for persons over the age of 60 whether male or female who have a financial need.

Regular short term mission trips including trips to help partner organisations involved in assisting refugees, housing orphans and conducting feeding programmes.Supplying humanatarian aid, which is being carried out through our partnership programme.

Provision of housing for widows or spinsters in the Warminster area over the age of 60 who are in distress or need and are of limited means. Preference is given to those professing the Protestant faith.

Promotion & preservation of mental health and holistic wellbeing, assist in relieving and rehabilitating persons suffering from mental disorder or conditions of emotional, psychological, physical or mental distress in London through the provision of health promotion activities, skill building, employment, counselling, advocacy, housing support, education, training, musical and cultural activities.

Increasing the provision of local affordable housing and the development of local food projects within the Lands End Peninsula (our "area of benefit" covers the Cornwall Council Community Network Areas of West Penwith and Hayle & St Ives).

We are the Home School Association for the Church of the Ascension Primary School. We are parents of school pupils who work with the teaching staff to organise and run fund raising events. The funds we raise are spent on various items for the school such as upgrading facilities, teaching aids, and school trips.
