We are a traditional village brass band. We aim to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education and appreciation of traditional and new brass band music. We perform publicly at fetes, concerts, in churches, public houses and functions. All our work is with and for elderly people. Primarily we run a minibus to transport to supermarkets, luncheon and other clubs, and to special events and for outings. This service helps to maintain the elderly in their own homes and to improve their quality of life. We also make grants to local organisations catering for the elderly.

Propagation of Christian faith, relief of poverty among the elderly, visiting and praying for the sick, on demand, organising activities that will foster healthy development of the youth. Giving donations to other charitable organisations at home and abroad when necessary. Planting of churches in local authority areas and abroad by organizing house fellowships.

Providing subsidised housing.Assisting underprivileged.Helping educational needs.

The charity runs a school in Mombasa Kenya for primary aged children. The school also provides food and water to help the children be nourished.The charity has completed a project to build a second school in Nyiera on the shores of Lake Victoria in Kenya. We also support the fortune learners centre food programme and run a housing project which supports families most in need.

A) To advance the education of young members of the public in agriculture, home crafts, country life and related subjects. And B) In the interest of social welfare to provide and promote the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure.

To support, advice to those affected by sickle cell disorders. We aim to educate and give information to the general public cell disorders and thalassaemia. We visit affected person at home or in hospital.

Accomodation for the Elderly

Being a church our first objective is the preaching of the gospel of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ within our local community. Whether it be by services or Sunday school youth groups, youth & children activities, taking morning assemblies in the local school. Services to the elderly in nursing homes, financial support to overseas missionary work in developing nations, famine/earthquake appeals

The Charity provides separate Almshouse accommodation for two Almspeople in the Parish of Tatenhill, Staffordshire

Centred on Holt and the surrounding district, we offer social support and access to activities for those living with dementia and respite for their carers through provision of 2 weekly cafes, a home visiting service and a twice monthly afternoon cafe, plus information and advice on our website and newsletters, dementia awareness training and participation in local dementia friendly initiatives.

Grants are made primarily to support charitable organisations known to the late Dr Joseph Kwok Wai Li and others which, in the opinion of the trustees, would have commanded his support.Specifically, but not exclusively, to support organisations working in the fields of HIV infection and sexual health, special housing need and conservation in Venice.

Provides services to those in need including a community transport scheme, home visiting, lunch club and coffee mornings for the elderly. The WVV Community Minibus facilitates several of these activities.

The Trust helps Shyira people by supporting school children, facilitating UK-Rwanda friendships, improving child headed family homes, helping enhance motherhood services in Shyira, supporting the link between St. Luke's church in Formby, and St. Mark's in Shyira, and giving talks about Rwanda. Funding that supports this work is given by trust supporters, with some specific fund raising.

WE'VE ESTABLISHED A NATIONAL SURFING MUSEUM IN NORTH DEVON - PRESERVING UK SURF HERITAGE, CELEBRATING CURRENT ACHIEVEMENTS AND SHAPING THE FUTURE OF SURFING IN GREAT BRITAIN. THE CHARITY AIMS TO CREATE A CARBON NEUTRAL HOME, OFFERING A NEW COMMUNITY VENUE TO PROMOTE MUSIC, ART, FILM & CULTURAL EVENTS. PROMOTING CONSERVATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT, YOUTH OPPORTUNITIES, EDUCATION AND VOLUNTEERING.

The principal activity of the Trust is to nominate a candidate for the annual award and to raise funds for the trust.

The charity can make small grants to assist students, whose home residence is in Acton, with books or equipment. The Trustees also consider other applications from local (Acton) organisations for help with education related needs.

As parents and carers of children in the school; we raise funds through activities such as Christmas and summer fairs, quiz nights, school discos and a sponsored walk. We use the funds to purchase items for Meath Green Infant School for the benefit of the pupils. We also use the funds to enhance the children's education by providing experiences such as educational workshops.

Rescue to animals in need (Sick, injured and rescue cases, we offer a 'Forever Home' to all animals brought to us. We operate in the Bromsgrove, Worcestershire area

To relieve the suffering of animals of any species who are in need of care and attention and, in particular, to provide & maintain refugees, secure homes, sanctuaries or other facilities for the reception of care of unwanted animals and the treatment of sick or ill-treated animals.

Our activities include respectfully promoting Christian values, the relief and assistance of people in poverty, the relief and assistance of people who are suffering from ill health, the relief and assistance of people whose human rights have been violated or are under severe threat, the furtherance of education and the advancement of other charitable missions who share our common objectives.
