Sea Cadets is different from school. There's a lot of learning, but it's done through activities on and off the water and our volunteers lead by example.It's also different from home, a break from screens and being cooped up inside. Giving relief comfort and support to the residents of the Devonshire Court Old peoples home

We will provide a safe environment through volunteer fosterers for any abandoned, unwanted, neglected orill treated English Setters. We have a team of regional reps who will transport any dog to its new home ora safe house. We have a network of volunteers who will alert the organisation to owners who need support and any dogs in trouble.

Financial Support to hospitals, nursing homes etc in the Parliamentary Borough of Hartlepool. The activity of the Charity was transferred on 31 December 2024 to a CIO Number 1203474. Charity number 234100 ceased on that date.

The main objects of the Society are to support the poor of the Alms Houses of the Lady Katherine Leveson Hospital and to aid in the upkeep of St. Mary's Church Temple Balsall and the Old Hall Temple Balsall. The full objects of the Society are as set out in its Constitution.

To rescue and re-home animals (with a particular focus on dogs and cats) from both the UK and other countries. The animals are transported, given a health assessment, receive medical treatment where necessary and neutered and given a pet passport. They are then placed in rented kennels or in foster care until an appropriate permanent home is found for them.

We run various activities and events in order to raise funds for the ongoing provison of additional educational activities for the school, thus supporting the enhanced education of our children.

The charity is looking after people in need with a home in North Srilanka, we take care of the individuals in the home. We also provide education and have a focus on agricultural projects to promote self-sustainability.

The Charity's purpose is to help students under the age of 25 whose home is in the area of benefit and who are in need of financial assistance to meet the costs of their further and/or vocational education including social and physical training.

The charity operates a parented home for street children in Kiev and provides assistance to disabled children in the Ukraine. Th charity also works in Malawi and has worked with Medic Malawi to provide an 80 bed hostel for young girls.

The Rotary Club look at all requests for help both at Home and International

Village Hall. Situated in a rural area and offers a central point for the residents of that area. Offers social events; across the range of age groups e.g. Brownies and Rainbows to the Over Sixties club; interests, balllroom dancing, quilting; resouces, houses the mobile post office. Operates as a venue to raise funds for services and provision in the village.We now offer post office services

For the benefit of the public to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of charities & the effective use of resources for charitable purposes by charitable and non charitable bodies providing end of life care for people in their own homes. The Association exists to support the members & other organisations as they strive to develop and improve the end of life care provided in patients own homes.

The Charity owns 2 Almshouses. Both are a 1 bedroom house. One occupied by a single person and one by a couple. The Trustees' responsibility is the upkeep of the houses and welfare of the occupants.

The Can Care Support Group provides financial support through the Can Care Trust in India for orphaned girls who live in a home situated in Jaipur. Money is provided for shelter, food, clothing, medical attention, education at local schools, and further education at university level. Support is also given for further education and medical care to older girls who have left the home.

We have three puppet teams. One team put on presentations in schools supporting the PSHE curriculum such as Internet Safety, Bullying etc. helping children and young people to make positive choices. Our second team do presentations in schools, care homes, hospices to share the Christmas and Easter stories. Our third youth team lead church services and take part in community fun days.
