Travelling puppet theatre which visits children's and elderly people's residential homes in the community and doing workshops to enable audience participation. Our activities that carried out all over the country.

Our charity supports Christian societies in this country and overseas. Donations went to the Leprosy Mission, the Bible Society, SOMA and Tearfund. Other beneficiaries were working with Christian organisations that supported street children, disabled and those in poverty.

Here at Bury Vetrerans Hub we signpost and offer support in the following area's:- Counselling, Family Support, Housing Support, Combatting Isolation, Debt Advice, Education, Health and Well Being Support, Community Gardening and Bee Keeping. We also offer sport and social activities and events requested by our members. This also includes two Breakfast Clubs and two monthly drop ins.

THIS CHARITY MANAGES A VILLAGE HALL ON A LEASEHOLD BASIS. THE HALL PROVIDES ACCOMMODATION/RESOURCES FOR LOCAL VOLUNTARY GROUPS AND LOCAL CLUBS AND SOCIETIES. IT ALSO HOUSES THE LOCAL ARCHIVE, OWNED BY THE PARISH COUNCIL OF WEST MALVERN. COMMITTEE MEMBERS ORGANISE FUNDRAISING EVENTS TO SUPPORT THE MAINTENANCE OF THE HALL.

The charity works with staff, parents and pupils to organise activities such as discos, fetes, trips and sponsored sporting events. These activities raise money to buy goods and services, for example, outdoor play equipment and new IT equipment, helping to improve the school experience of pupils and advancing their education, whilst improving home/school links and those with the local community.

Provision of housing for elderly residents of Stonehouse.

We work to relieve the suffering of those people forced to flee their homes and become refugees in the UK and abroad.1. Providing goods and services.2. Provision of a museum celebrating Great Ayton as the childhood home of Captain James Cook. The museum includes a schoolroom typical of the one that James Cook would attend for his education.

We Organise social events and activities for the disabled in London We visit the physically disabled in hospitals, Prisons and Nursing Homes throughout the greater london area.We provide information and materials on disability issues We collect equipment to aid mobility for people in Africa particularly in Nigeria Ghana, Ivory Coast and Sierra Leone

General charitable purposes including housing and grants to those in need in the local vicinity.

Upendo provides ethical, sustainable and entrepreneurial support for disadvantaged youngsters in the Mwanza region of Tanzania. We seek to provide the best possible start in life for the kids we support through sponsorship of good education and healthcare. We strive to work with the local community of Mwanza to establish a degree of self-sustainability for Upendo.

Fundraising activities including cake sales, table top sales and a Summer Fair

WCDG works with local residents to maintain & develop a sustainable community, more homes, amenities and open space, for present and future generations, offers advice & support to individuals organisations on development proposals and planning applications, holds public consultations and feeds back to local authority & government. The Women's Institute advances the education of women and girls in important local and national political and social issues, music, drama and other cultural subjects, agriculture, crafts, home economics, science, health and social welfare, promotes sustainable development, advances health and advances citizenship by promoting civic responsibility and volunteering.

The rescue, rehabilitatioin and re-homing of papillons and phalenes who, through various circumstances, find themselves in need of a new home. Fund raising activities such as, training days, fun days, companion dog shows, charity`s stand at various events and and car boots.

Support to two retired soldiers living in two Almshouses

To restore, preserve, maintain and display the Edward Birkbeck, Winterton No 1 Lifeboat 1896-1925, being of historical and constructional merit and accepted onto the National Historic Ships Register No. 2379 and to advance the education of the public in all aspects of its construction and use, including the provision and maintenance of a Heritage Centre as her permanent home.

Provision of residential accommodation for older people in need.

The Friends of Mary Seacole Housing Association work to prevent and relieving hardship and distress amongst persons who are in need by reason of homelessness, for the public benefit in the Luton area. We provide supported semi-independent accommodation for single people and provided life skills, credited and non accredited training and social activities to support the users back into independency.
