We are currently very actively engaged in establishing our new Yoruba UK Central Office systems, administration, training our volunteer workers, members and staff, including running the initial projects to set up a Yoruba governing body that will serve those in need, our beneficiaries, users, members, communities and the public.

Undertake activities to enable women interested in issues associated with rural life, to improve their education in citizenship, public questions, music, culture handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare and to improve rural life.

The charity is a local choir, providing social activities for local residents, mostly retired people. We give several concerts per year, much of the income going to local and national charities (eg a local hospice, Marie Curie cancer care etc.). Concerts are also given in local care homes.Recently we have successfully started a young peoples choir which is proving very popular.

Canon's House is a respite care home offering short term breaks away from home for children and young people with severe learning difficulties, and who may also have a physical disability. The object of the Friends of Canon's House is to engage in fundraising and activities which provide for the social welfare and enhance the experience of life of the young people who attend Canon's House.

Providing material, emotional, educational and spiritual support to children who experience great need in these areas. Those with inadequate housing receive financial and contact help for improvement. Unhappy children are given counselling, outings, holidays, toys etc. Slow learners receive tuition. We are a dog rescue charity.We specialise in rescuing abandoned dogs from local pounds,which are in danger of being put to sleep.We also raise awareness of the problem of abandoned dogs as a result of backyard breeding.We get to know our dogs by walking them and meeting and socialising with other dogs and we also introduce them to a home environment.We take them to our own homes,

The income of the charity is applied generally or individually to assist in meeting the charitable aims of Origin Housing Association and to provide assistance to individuals and communities who are in necessitous circumstances.

To advance the education and welfare of the pupils in the school.

Our primary focus is the relief of poverty in Asia. We have focused primarily on activities benefiting children through homes and education projects.We worked with a children's project in Cambodia but more recently our efforts are concentrated in Myanmar where we have built a children's home and a number of educational projects in Yangon as well as in more remote regions of the country

PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATIONThe main focus of activities has been to raise funds to purchase equipment and materials to support the learning of pupils in school. The children have benefited from "wow day" experiences such as skating on an artificial rink and receiving a ?5 subsidy towards a school trip. We have also held activities such as children's discos, story nights and summer fayre.

Last Chance Coventry Ferret Rescue promotes humane behaviour towards ferrets, providing them with a haven to provide appropriate care, treatment, rehabilitation and neutering. Once they are ready, we then find suitable homes to live the rest of their lives in. We also promote, and educate, the public in ferret welfare, husbandry and how they make ideal pets.

Provision of social housing - four units Almeshouse accommodation.

The charity provides 2 Alms Houses for the use of villagers who are unable to own their own homes. The occupants contribute a monthly sum for the upkeep of the properties.

Classical guitar ensemble for local children - rehearsals and performances, education in classical guitar playing and music - to raise funds for hall hire, music, equipment, and to donate money to local charities. Also performing for free at festivals, events, care homes, hospitals etc.

We rescue, rehabilitate and re-home rabbits and rodents in Staffordshire and surrounding areas.
