The relief of suffering of animals of any species who are in need of care and attention and in particular to provide or maintain kennels, catteries, refuges, rescue homes, animal hospitals, sanctuaries or such facilities for the reception and care of unwanted animals or animals in distress and the treatment of sick or ill treated animals.

The charity is restricted to housing persons in need over 60 years of age who are regarded as poor and deserving persons of the middle class as defined in the will of Mrs Grundy establishing the Almshouses.

We operate as a church, preaching the gospel. Our evangelistic activities include Parent & Toddlers, Junior Church, Youth and Wednesday Bright Hour. Income is used to support missionary enterprise at home and abroad.Other usual church activities take place such as Bible Study, Communion, evangelism, community work and children's outreaches.

A restricted fund awards grants to individuals in need within Dunwich (and occasionally in neighbouring parishes) and the elderly for a range of purposes from provision of care alarms to help with tertiary education expenses, emergency problems in the home and help with fuel costs.

Home-Start Wellingborough & district is a voluntary organisation in which volunteers offer support, friendship & practical help to families who have at least one child under the age of five and who are experiencing difficulties.

We help animals in need in the Powys/Herefordshire area. By getting them the lover and care they need, we find their forever homes, or a long term foster.

TVAW aims to rescue and rehome abandoned, illtreated and unwanted cats and kittens. Veterinary treatment is provided and all animals are neutered. The cats are cared for individually in foster homes until suitable homes are found. We also operate a lost and found register and a low cost neutering scheme. All of the work is carried out by volunteers and funded by donations.

Enhance older people's independence: volunteer car drivers transport people with limited mobility AND in genuine need to a range of medical appointments and to social activities, ensuring a safe return home. Charity also offers a befriending service for lonely and isolated older members of the community. We also run Community Cafes and a Handyperson Service (simple jobs in the home and garden).

The Trust exists to tackle youth unemployment and the lack of affordable housing. This is achieved by purchasing run-down properties, renovating and renting to vulnerable young people in housing need. The Trust offers training and apprenticeships in construction skills to young people 16-24 years old. It also offers fully supported tenancies to young people between 18 and 24 in East Cleveland.

Acts Of Kindness Collective was set up in 2015 in response to the devastating earthquake in Nepal. We empowerlocal communities through education, health and child protection. To date we have run multiple projects to stop child trafficking, built homes for homeless families, conducted medical missions and constructed several schools. We are active in South East Asia, with a focus on Nepal.
