The Macari Foundation is established to relieve poverty of persons who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless or those who are suffering from associated issues such as substance miss-use, mental health problems or crime and anti-social behaviour in North Staffordshire by providing night shelter accommodation, food and support to them to help them move on to independent living.

PROVIDING HOMELESS AND UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE WITH THE SECURITY AND COMPANIONSHIP OF LIVING IN A COMMUNITY HOME, THE DIGNITY OF WORKING FOR THE COMMUNITY AND FOR OTHER DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE, AND THE CHANCE OF RECOVERING THE ABILITY TO LIVE A SUCCESSFUL, INDEPENDENT LIFE OUTSIDE THE COMMUNITY SHOULD THEY CHOOSE TO DO SO. IT HAS SET UP A SOCIAL ENTERPRISE TO FUND THE COMMUNITY AND CREATE EMPLOYMENT.

Maidenhead Synagogue is a place of worship providing religious, educational and social events and services. We support the local community eg lunches for the homeless, school and police visits.There is a thriving religion school and youth group and a lunch club for the elderly.

Inn Churches has grown from a month-long pilot to a thriving community project with more than 900 volunteers from churches and the wider community in Bradford. We have provided over 5000 beds for homeless and vulnerable people in the Bradford area. In addition we provide practical support for those who need it most in the form of the WHHP programme, starter packs, food and cookery lessons.

We are a short to medium term homeless hostel providing support for men, aged 25-60, in Watford with complex needs; primarily homelessness, drug and alcohol issues. We provide 24-hr support, in-house therapists, self-help strategies, supportive group work, signposting to external services, assistance with maximising benefits, advice on education and training and follow on support / resettlement.

The Charity's objectives and principal activity is the provision of holistic care for the needy and the provision of education within the London Borough of Redbridge and surrounding areas. Activities include a drop in centre (The Welcome Centre) to help and support the homeless, refugees and asylum seekers. Projects also include Language classes, childcare and social groups for senior citizens.

We use music to help people who have experienced homelessness make positive changes in their lives, to advance the education of the public in the arts in particular but not exclusively in the art of opera. Established in 1986, The Soup Kitchen is a resource for the homeless, elderly, lonely and vulnerable in London. We provide free nutritious meals, clothing and unprecedented mental health support to nearly 150 people each day in London. The Greater Change Foundation provides flexible financial support to people experiencing homelessness, helping them take big long-term steps out of homelessness.We work with partner charities and their support workers to empower our clients to create a plan for how they want to get out of homelessness; and work to enable this plan by helping them to overcome the financial barriers they face.
