Housing Charities That specialise in Homelessness

The Foundation will primarily make grants to existing charities. Priorities will be the arts, ASD, ADHD, Cancer, Children/Youth, Dementia, the environment, FASD, food poverty, homelessness, LGBTQIA, refugees, women's physical and mental health. Priority will be given to East London and East Kent. Applications for multi-year and longer term projects particularly encouraged.

LEATHERHEAD START IS A DIRECT ACCESS, SHORT STAY HOSTEL PROVIDING ACCOMMODATION FOR THE SINGLE HOMELESS AND DAY TIME ACTIVITIES. IT HAS 9 SINGLE ROOMS AND 1 DOUBLE FOR A COUPLE. ASSISTANCE IS GIVEN TO CLAIM BENEFITS, SEEK TREATMENT FOR HEALTH PROBLEMS, AND ADDRESS THE ASSOCIATED PROBLEMS WHICH HAVE LED PEOPLE TO OUR DOOR. WE AIM TO HELP PEOPLE TO ACHIEVE A PLANNED MOVE ON TO FURTHER ACCOMMODATION.

M13 (est. 1995, as charity No. 1069401) is a community-based youth project, specialising in detached work with young people in inner-urban Manchester. We engage young people on the streets in our communities, build relationships, listen and work together to develop conversations and activities which foster fun, learning, action and change for social justice, for young people and our communities.

The Church ministers to Duffield and the surrounding area with teaching on Christian faith to people of all ages. We provide services of baptism, thanksgiving, marriage and funerals together with pastoral care associated with these and other events and also regular corporate worship. Co-operating with local churches we help the Homeless and with other organisations we work for World Mission.

We hold Sunday meetings, mid week groups,training events seminars and out reach programmes in which we seek to worship, train ,educate, provide pastoral care and advance the Kingdom of God. We train workers and bring relief to the poor and needy through our compassion ministries in which we provide food and clothing for the homeless, visit the sick and elderly and reach out to the drug addicts.

1) Helping organisations and individuals from across the community to find new ways to eliminate rough sleeping due to homelessness2) Operating Street Support Cambridgeshire, a mobile friendly website giving information on ways to find help for a rough sleeper and to give help to support organisations3) Running projects with partners to provide accommodation and support to rough sleepers

The Charity provides shared accommodation for single homeless people in the Salisbury Area. It operates shared accomodation for rent and works with the local authority to find people in need of this accommodation.

Coney makes interactive theatre - creating games, adventures and play where people can choose to take a meaningful part. Our work takes place anywhere that people gather providing great art for everyone; in theatres, schools, museums, on the streets and online. We offer bespoke development support to artists, makers and game designers.

Since 1982 the Manna House Trust has sought to serve the community by providing access to professional counselling services, accredited courses to students training to be future counsellors and supervisors, and wellbeing workshops, for everyone in Northamptonshire irrespective of faith background or ability to pay. It has also provided a coffee shop, bookshop and flats for the homeless.

Supporting People In Need Provide accommodation to homeless men. We offer food, a bed to sleep in and support where we able and sign post to professional services where necessary when the level of support required by men staying with us exceeds our capabilities or requires medical intervention, for example substance misuse and alcohol issues.

We collect donations of unwanted furniture from the public and help people on low incomes with affordable furniture. We supply people who have been homeless and are setting up a new home with a free furniture pack. We divert good usable furniture away from landfill.

Relief of poverty among homeless persons and rough sleepers living in Waltham Forest who are in conditions of need, hardship and distress by reason of their social and economic circumstances and in particular but not exclusively by deploying human and material resources to provide appropriate relief to such persons.Winter shelter, food, clothing, showers, laundry and other relevant services

Blossom & Bloom provide well-being support and socialisation to expectant mums and mums with babies (pre-school age), who are experiencing homelessness, poverty, disadvantage or social isolation. Kol Bonaich supports young people affected by Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), trauma, homelessness, suicidal & mental health challenges, including at-risk NEET teens. We provide trauma-informed care, life skills training, employment & volunteering opportunities, social, sport & recreational activities, free nutritious meals, and Shabbat programs to foster resilience and societal integration.

The objects of the charity are:1)The provision of assistance and in particular residential care for men and women who through poverty, homelessness or age cannot readily obtain such care and2)To promote,undertake and sponsor research into the special needs of the poor, the homeless and the aged and3)The training and education of medical students

We support and campaign for people who are homeless, or rootless and particularly those for whom no other provision exists.

The objective of the charity is to use medical aid, education, social and other relief as an expression of God's love. By funding these activities the organisation and its Directors believe that it can have a positive effect upon individuals who have become homeless, dispossessed of their possessions or opportunities of employment through natural causes or war.

St Giles' liturgy and music attract a citywide congregation. The church is open daily for worship, concerts and private prayer. The church supports a charity that uses its Parish Rooms as a drop-in centre for the homeless and vulnerable.
