Funds are raised in the UK and elsewhere for the benefit and welfare of all animals in Nepal. The charity works with local partners to oversee and support large scale animal birth control programmes to humanely reduce the population of stray dogs on the streets of Kathmandu and other urbanised, high-dog population areas within Nepal. It also supports a vaccination programme against rabies.

Power Grace Chapel provides charitable services including but no limited to provision of food, clothing etc. to homeless, basic skill acquisition training for asylum seekers. We also run an open-to-all religious services with focus on the message of grace, love and hope.

The objects of the trust deed are to make grants for general charitable purposes at the discretion of the trustees. In practice, a policy reflecting the interests of the settlers has been implemented, whereby grants are made under the following headings, health, homelessness, Quaker causes/institutions, support groups and third world. We currently operate in Lewisham and Wandsworth.Our project provides free breakfast and hot meals for lunch every Saturday for homeless, rough sleepers and vulnerable people in the community.Our service users have ranged from young adults to the elderly, and groups of vulnerable individuals who have found themselves homeless.We offer workshop on Friday for arts and crafts activities.

Sadaka provides free weekly lunches and basic items on Saturdays for those struggling financially / homeless in Reading. Come and enjoy a hot meal, and a chat, at Fairview Community Centre, 90b Great Knollys Street, RG1 7HL. Sadaka signposts service users to relevant local services for further help. Further, we begin a training programme for service users who wish to improve their quality of life.

Our main purpose is to show Jesus to others. This is done through preaching God's Word in our services and outreach to the community through the church's own activities: youth clubs; women's fellowship; the Winter Night Shelter - one night a week for the local homeless community. The church is also used by the public for parties, groups like University of the 3rd Age and Christian seminars.

The prevention or relief of poverty / sickness in the area of Tabora, Tanzania by making grants to Familia Moja Itetemia or other agents. FMCP-UK was set up primarily to provide, (a) emergency food and/or medical aid;(b) housing or accommodation to people who are homeless;(c) items and support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient.

We hold events throughout the year in support of local charities, including Essex Air Ambulance, Muscular Dystrophy and Animal Rescue. We have also supported Farleigh?s Hospice, CHESS and Chelmsford Homeless Charity. It is our intention this year to support local and smaller charities. We have initiated a special charity fund from donations received via our Healing Group activities.

The charity invests funds with a view to paying income and, in exceptional circumstances, a part of capital to such charities as the trustees in their absolute discretion see fit. For the foreseeable future, when making grants, the trustees will give priority to charities supporting young people and the homeless, with special emphasis on those based in Islington.

Animal Canopy provides animal welfare and public benefit by supporting the dogs owned by homeless people in Bournemouth and by raising funds which are then distributed via the charity's approved grant making policy to small animal charities located in the UK (mostly local to Animal Canopy's activities) and some selected organisations abroad. Animal Canopy operates mostly in Dorset and Hampshire.

Homelessness prevention

Kingfisher Cafe provides regular meals throughout the week for the homeless and needy of Bridlington. We provide clothing, bedding, personal hygiene products, facilities for washing and an address for private & official mail (which allows for benefits claims). Advice and support are provided - personal, practical and medical. A homely, caring Cafe where participation is encouraged and given.

Kotor Kitties helps the homeless cats of Montenegro live healthier lives and reduces the homeless population through spaying and neutering. Kotor Kitties also provides education regarding sterilisation as a solution to the country's stray animal population.

The activities of the charity are as follows: To provide food and clothing to the homeless and asylum seekers/refugees. To provide advice to the homeless.. To assist domestic violence projects with practical help e.g. furniture, decorating. To provide spiritual help.

The charity provides grants, items and services to individuals in need and or charities or other organisations working to prevent or relieve the needs that arise as a consequence of homelessness,child poverty.
