Bolton Community Kitchen. Our main purpose and objective is to provide hot and nourishing cooked meals to people who are either homeless or living in hostels. Although nobody is ever turned away.Our second objective is to fund, support and manage an allotment.

We offer support for dogs living on the streets with homeless owners, dogs living in hostels with their owners, and dogs and owners who are accommodated with low level support. We provide dog food, dog coats, collars, leads, etc. But most importantly we provide free Vet care. We have Outreach Teams who take bags of items out to the dogs and owners, each week. We also provide Foster Care.

We rescue homeless dogs and after a period of assessment we pair them with ( mainly ) older people who express feelings of loneliness and isolation.We offer financial support if needed and assign a volunteer to visit at least weekly to walk the dog but importantly to encourage the person to walk in an effort to widen their social circle.
