Housing Charities That specialise in Homelessness

TW Street Pastors is an inter-denominational Church response to urban problems, engaging with people on the streets to listen care and help. A Street Pastor is a church member who has a concern for society and is willing to engage people where they are both in terms of their thinking and their location. Each SP team goes out one night a month from 10pm to 4am as a service to the community.

We meet at the Basement, in Parr Street, Liverpool weekly to provide hot food, sandwiches, cakes, drinks, clothes and toiletries to those who are homeless or living in hostels in Liverpool. We also provide support, advice and counselling where needed. We direct them on to other volunteer services who might be able to help them, if necessary. We share a message of Christian hope with them.

Y.W.A.F. works alongside other organisations, to support young homeless people aged 16-25, and those in supported housing. We also support many local positive youth initiatives and individuals with education, training and employment needs.

Lectures for women on awareness of blood pressure and diabetes. Food distribution to homeless people in the local area.

Assist benevolent agencies in helping the poor and the needy. Seek to provide good accommodation facilities to the homeless and the needy. Provision of accommodation and support for the homeless.

Providing free primary education to eight and more villages in Sierra Leone; provide free bibles to individuals and churches; free medication, second-hand clothes to amputees in Sierra Leone, provide free accommodation, for at most two weeks, to individuals visiting Africa for the first time, especially, descendants of African Caribbean, and food to the Homeless in the UK, mostly in Hackney.

We try to make life a little more bearable for those on the streets.As well as providing hot nutritious meals we offer clothing, hygiene essentials, a laundry service and a wash & swap service for sleeping bags.We also help, support and signpost to other agencies and organisations for continued support in specific areas of need.

PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF GOSPEL HALLS FOR THE RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES OF THE CHRISTIANS OFTEN KNOWN AS 'BRETHREN'. SPREADING OF THE CHRISTIAN GOSPEL MESSAGE IN THE GOSPEL HALL AND IN PUBLIC PLACES, INCLUDING ISSUING OF FREE GOSPEL LITERATURE. GIVING OF FOOD GIFTS AND GOSPEL LITERATURE TO HOMELESS PERSON CHARITIES.

The Hazel Project is a Christian ministry, started in 2015, to reach out to the vulnerable street homeless community in Southampton, especially those who are struggling with addiction, mental health, homelessness and/or poverty We offer friendship and support with any of their struggles in life and aim to gently introduce the love of God and Jesus into their lives.

Arise Restoration Centre provides crisis intervention services for people who are in crisis and crisis prevention services for people who are in high risk exposure to a major crisis such as homelessness, domestic violence, or negative and destructive health lifestyles which can or may lead to depravity or suicide.

We are a charity organisation that takes to the streets of Liverpool as many days/nights as we can. We give out warm food, snacks, drinks, warm clothing, footwear, sleeping bags, tents and a listing ear. We try and make life that little bit easier for those on the streets/or in need. Our organisation is run solely by unpaid volunteers and the kind donations of our supporters.

The principal activities of the charity during the year were to advance the Christian faith, to relief sickness and financial hardship through the provision of funds, goods and services including counselling in the United kingdom and the rest of the world.This is done by sharing tracks, reaching homeless, communities and preaching the gospel of Christ and inviting them to fellowship with us.

The Cornelius fund grants money to people in the Kingsbridge area who are unable to get sufficient help from other sources. Grants are made for things such as rent deposit, the first month's rent or furniture/household items. We do not ask for repayment but hope clients may make donations in the future if and when their circumstances improve so we may continue to help others

Faith based gospel Church, we conduct prayers, evangelism, Spiritual Counselling, Communion service, Marriages.we engage in visits to hospitals and prisons and ensure prayer commitment to individual families, Communities and Nations. Outreach ministries to the homeless people, those stress, depressed and with suicidal ideation.

We provide soup, sandwiches and hot drinks and a listening ear to adult persons (aged 18 years and over) suffering from homelessness, addiction, mental illness or loneliness. We are open on Thursday nights from 7.15pm-8.45pm. This work is a practical expression of our Christian faith. We also sign post guests to other useful agencies.

Making grants to registered charities on a one-off or recurring basis to help those in need of water, sanitation, healthcare, food, housing or education, particularly the poor, the homeless, children and the elderly.

For the public benefit, the relief of need by way of being homeless or rough sleepers, in Greater Manchester, through the provision of food packages, clothing, hygiene products, temporary accommodation, and guidance. In times of exceptional circumstances and crises, donations and funds may be used in partnership with other homeless charities and causes nationally and internationally.

For the public benefit, the relief of those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, in need of a meal and refreshment on a frequent or occasional basis in the Medway area, who choose to attend each Saturday at the Quaker Meeting House in Rochester. We provide food, drinks and an opportunity for social interaction and information in a peaceful, caring and non-judgemental environment.
