We are a Christian organisation whose objectives and activities are to relieve need or hardship in Reading. Our work is operated in three specific parts:1. Readifood - acting as Reading's foodbank2. Street work - feeding rough sleepers 3. Bed for the Night (B4N) - co-ordinating a winter night shelter with 7 local churches

The main activity is to provide shared accommodation for young working adults and homeless persons, living in community, and supported by a host family. Our aim is to provide homeless people in England with a lasting reintegration into society and sustainable housing.

It provides educational activities and training in sports, Arts, Science and Healthcare to advance knowledge and skills of young persons and disadvantaged youths in deprived areas. Our Lady of Perpetual Help charity has provide during this financial year to 250 children one meal a day, medication, education and clothing to children, young mothers, disable and all underprivileged people in Ivory Coast.We also provide food to several parishes in Ivory CoastWe also tried to start a foundation to build a refuge centre for the homeless.

Our charity actively supports vulnerable people, young people released from the prison and people who are homeless. We are currently actively running a Foodbank scheme and have recently acquired premises from Coventry City Council to allow us to set up a charity shop providing low cost clothing and household items for those on low incomes.

FoodBanked is a food bank charity that delivers essential food on a monthly basis to people in need across east London and Essex areas. FoodBanked works with Retailers, Charities and the local public, collecting food donations and distributing to homeless shelters such as Ryedale Care Centre based in Ilford and to east London & Essex households and to people living rough on the streets.

Our volunteers, who are all members of local churches, patrol the town centre on Saturday nights from 10.30 pm until 3.30 am to care, listen and help anyone who is out in the town. We pick up bottles and give out flip flops and lollipops. We work in partnership with the police and local authority. We aim to provide a friendly face on the streets and to give assistance where we can.

The rescue and permanent care of elderly sick and abandoned animals and birds made homeless through the illness or death of their owners or such change in circumstances as renders them unable to care for them.

We are a Christian charity who go out on the streets of Woolwich on a Friday evening to listen, care and help those in need, with a particular emphasis on those in distress, in need and those who live on the streets, in whichever way we can.

The Trust supports the well-being, education, culture, health (including mental health) and social needs of refugees and the homeless; academic research in the arts, humanities, medicine and social sciences; and citizenship and community development projects that give voice to marginalised groups and communities in the UK and elsewhere.
