We hire the hall out to community clubs, birthday parties, weddings, anniversary parties, dance groups, fitness groups, baby/toddler groups, dog training groups and community meetings. The hall that serves the community.

We have the declared aims of facilitating the provision of active travel infrastructure (paths, benches, storage etc), and promoting the uptake of active travel in the Whitby and Esk Valley area.

The charity provides a meeting place for village activities ranging from annual parish meetings, parish council meetings, toddlers, youth club, WI, over 60s, dancing, keep fit and exercise, fund-raising activities for village charities and organisations, private functions, drama group, changing and refreshment facilities for village sports clubs, and others.

Provides opportunities for local people to participate in the sport of wheelchair basketball, both recreationally and competitively. Provides coaching in ball skills, wheelchair movement and fitness activities.

Runs the village hall and maintains the community park and childrens play areas for the benefit of the local and wider community. Supports a number of user groups (eg childrens activities & exercise classes), fundraising activities (eg quiz nights) and private hire. The new Hall opened in December 2010 enabling the scope of activities provided for Great Dunham and neighbouring villages to expand.

Educational, social and physical activities for retired and semi retired people.

Diverse community events are held in the village hall e.g. lectures, slide shows, Christmas, Spring and Summer fairs, etc. The hall is also hired out for use by local groups , art clubs, entertainment group, bowls club, wine club, gardening club, fitness classes etc.

BOXING club provides excercise & a social environment for local children aged 9 to 40. childrens dance class offering the same but is open to ages 4 to 16, keep fit classes, Mother and toddler groups, Community group meetings plus various fund raising activities like Summer Fayres, Car Boot Sales held annually. Table top salesplus cheep events locations for wider community

We fund raise to maintain our village hall for local organisations ie. W.I., art class, camera club, produce guild, keep fit classes etc and for local residents private functions ie. wedding receptions, birthday parties, funerals etc.

Income is derived from letting of village hall to local groups for activities for the benefit of the village. These include exercise classes, indoor bowls, and elderley residents social club.

Community Village Hall, in Lanteglos-by-Fowey, used for recreation, education and enjoyment, including a Local Produce Market, coffee mornings, gardening club meetings, parties, weddings, youth and fitness, Parish Council meetings, polling station, recitals, choirs, talks and plays, Age Concern meetings and lunches, Christmas and other seasonal festivities, School Governor's & Staff training days.

Provide facilities inside hall for local groups including Community Council, Music group, Aikido, Pilates, Quiz nights, Bingo nights, Computer classes, First Aid classes, Inter denominational services (eg Remembrance Service, Thanksgiving, Christmas Carol service), Concerts, Polling Station during elections.Outside: Play Area for local children.

The Hall is used by village groups including Women's Institute, Morris Dancers, Keep Fit and Yoga classes,Cricket Club, Parish Council, All Saints Church. The Village Hall is in use most days/evenings of the week by the groups mentioned above, plus being hired to others for social and activities.

Prescot & District U3A is open to all residents of the Knowsley area. Its prime purpose is to offer an active life style to retired people over the age of 55 yrs. The activities that we offer includes bowling,keep fit classes,painting tuition,crafts,yoga,theatre club. These activities help to give our members a quality of life that can only be achieved in the company of like minded people

We operate as All Being Well and we are a village gym which has members with a wide range of abilities and ages ranging from teens to upper eighties. We also welcome abilities from serious training to fighting middle-age spread to maintaining mobility in elderly limbs. We are equipped to assist disabled people including those in wheelchairs.

Provides building (village hall) and basic facilities (large and small room, toilets, kitchen, parking) for use by local groups including currently playgroup, yoga, silver band, WI, children's cheerleading group, and for general public (eg private parties, fund raising events).
