Gardening club.

The charity fund provides additional activites for children and families beyond the remit of the Local Authority and which children and families may not otherwise be able to access, such as; visiting farm animals, parenting workshops, healthy living advice, cookery sessions for adults and children, gardening sessions with the opportunity to grow your own food and expeditions to local attractions.

We have a meeting once a month where we have guest speakers giving us talks on various garden subjects. We do not hold a meeting in August or December. We have a flower show once a year in August which is for the people of Minehead and surrounding towns - not just for the garden club members. There are various activities during the year, such as visits to gardens.

we are a community based gardening group of volunteers that create gardens within our boundary of the area we live. the gardens we create will be used to enter Britain in Bloom competition.

Friends of Ridley Park organise the hire and management of the pavilion for the benefit of the local community. Activities include gardening, tree planting, nature projects, talks, a bird screen area and heritage projects. Throughout the year, we carry out clean ups and litter picks in addition to fundraising for improvements within the park.

Whist Drives were held weekly September to April.Succesful Spring and Summer Shows were held. Two Bands practice weekly. Hall was hired out for parties, private functios such as wedding parties, scouts, memorial teas etc.

We promote healthy living through physical activity, social interaction and the accessibility to fresh produce. The Friends of Bridge End Gardens provide financial and practical support, restoration, preservation, ongoing maintenance & further development of Bridge End Gardens, encouraging public knowledge, use and enjoyment of The Gardens amenity. Annually, February to December, Friends Volunteers meet weekly on Thursdays at 10.00hrs, undertaking gardening tasks. The Gardens complex have won many awards.

We promote positive wellbeing through outdoor activities as well as peer support we have regular health walks gardening, litterpicking and are looking at more training to offer a wider range of sessions to benefit all beneficiaries. we are based in hastings east sussex and operate in hastings and so local surrounding areas.

The preservation and restoration of the walled garden at North Farm, Rise, Hull HU11 5BL as a gardening area for the use of the population of East Riding and Hull. In accordance with the principles of organic or regenerative horticulture, the garden will operate as a closed loop production system with minimal external inputs (other than seeds and cuttings).

THE NATURAL BEEKEEPING TRUST AIMS TO PROMOTE AWARENESS OF SUSTAINABLE BEEKEEPING WHICH IS DETERMINED BY OUR UNDERSTANDING OF THE ESSENTIAL NEEDS OF THE BEES. THE FOUNDERS OF THE TRUST BELIEVE THAT ENCOURAGING BEE GUARDIANSHIP AS WELL AS FOSTERING AN INTEREST IN ORGANIC/BIODYNAMIC AGRICULTURE AND GARDENING WILL MAKE A MAJOR CONTRIBUTION TO ENSURING THE LONG TERM HEALTH OF THE HONEYBEE.

Formed in 1998 through Agenda 21 to encourage allotment use in Harrow we are now a federation of 17 horticultural and local groups. Our plant sales, quiz suppers, BBQ and Horticultural Show during the year raise funds which have provided disabled toilets, recycling bays and secure storages on allotment sites. Public relations, raising awareness and informal education with environmental broadcasting, journalism, presentation and photography. We use the Earth Charter and UNESCO processes as our basic principles. Field Activities include Wildlife Gardening.

We are a community garden. Volunteers grow vegetables, herbs,plants, also home made preserves for sale to the Community. We also provide recreational and educational facilities for community use e.g. Community fetes We also work with local educational projects for all ages and abilities, promoting healthy eating and lifestyle.

Village Hall. There is a small children's play area attached. The hall has an active indoor bowls club and is used for Quiz nights and other village activities, for example, birthday parties. Also the local gardening club and the Parish Council holds their meetings at the hall.

Monthly meeting with invited speaker. Also group activities, including art appreciation, literature, current affairs, poetry reading and more. We also arrange trips to concerts and the theatre. During the year a gardening group, visiting Welsh gardens and hearing talks.

The building is let to W.I. private parties various meeting as well as holding church services social evenings, talks on gardening, quiz nights amongst other activities.
