Grow Together provides growing areas and activities for people who have need of such facilities. We relieve poverty by providing food grown in community growing spaces to the local foodbanks.We advance education for the public benefit in the subjects of horticulture, conservation of natural resources and improvement of the environment. Supplying items of equipment for residents of the hospital who require more specialist items/ to improve their stay e.g. Special Beds, Chairs, Televisions, Electric fans, Telephones, Christmas presents. We are a group of volunteers called Colne in Bloom. Our aim is to keep our town looking alive with floral displays throughout the town. We plant towers, barrier troughs and hanging baskets through the main road of Colne and generally keep everywhere tidy. We raise money by fundraising namely tombola stalls. We get local primary schools involved in the gardening side of our volunteering work.

We are developing a program of engage vulnerable young people overcome some of the negative impact they Face. We envisage youth sessions incorporating Music,recording of Music, performance in a club setting from communities. Community Gardening, youth activities, carpentry and school referrals for work experience to challenge vulnerable people's thinking producing a positive outcome.

Friends of Calverley Grounds is a neighbourhood community group providing support to the town centre park, Calverley Grounds. Activities include fundraising for new equipment/facilities, gardening and planting, neighbourhood socials etc as well as liaising with the local council about maintenance and future strategy.

Supporting volunteers with gardening, organising events, guided tours, liaising with Sefton Council with regard to the management and maintenance of the gardens.

Serenity Social and Therapeutic Horticulture Charity will from 2025 be known as SERENITY-Therapy in Nature Charity, Our aim is to provide Nature Based Therapies to those with, or vulnerable to, mental health problems and to protect physical health, through the encouragement of evidence based Nature therapies for both mind and body, over six weeks in Summer.

To: -Educate and inform the public about nature, wildlife, food & nutrition. -Teach people how to grow healthy nutritious food -Enhance health & wellbeing through access to true nature-Provide habitat for indigenous wildlife to help reverse species extinction -Research gardening techniques with the potential to restore soil health and store atmospheric carbon to mitigate climate change

PEMBROKE HOUSE IS A COMMUNITY CENTRE BASED IN WALWORTH, SOUTH LONDON. IT RUNS A RANGE OF PROJECTS, INCLUDING A LUNCH CLUB FOR OLDER PEOPLE; A MUSIC ACADEMY FOR CHILDREN AND A GARDENING FOR WELLBEING GROUP. IT ALSO PARTNERS WITH OVER 25 OTHER ORGANISATIONS WHO RUN COMMUNITY PROJECTS ON THE PREMISES, AND IS HOME TO THE VIBRANT PARISH CHURCH OF ST CHRISTOPHER'S.

Eccleston Old People's Welfare Committee provides human resources and buildings facilities for a wide range of community activities including old people's bingo (Monday and Thursday), Gardening Club, Lectures and Classes, Learning, pre-school group, Bridge Clubs, Weight Watchers, Board Gamers, Farmers' Wives, baby massage/bonding, French for toddlers & hires out the hall on a one-off basis
