Leisure Charities That specialise in Sports

The Trust applies the charity funds to help organisations and individuals within the boundaries of the City of Lichfield who qualify for help under the terms of the Trust Deed. For example it assists with the provision or maintenance of public halls, meeting places, playing fields, sports facilities, public gardens and public open spaces.

Provides footballing and sports activites to young people from the borough of Camden and other boroughs.

The Scheme encourages and supports outdoors sporting activities e.g football, rugby,bowls etc. in the Knottingley/Pontefract area.It also offers facilities for darts and dominoes, snooker and other indoor games.

At present Sittingbourne Lions provides a football club across Sittingbourne for all age groups and ability.

Running West Surrey Golf Club annual Pro Am Tournament

The Club provides facilities for the local community to pursue the sport of target shooting. We run training courses for members new to the sport and for local young people to come to try the sport. We offer reduced rates/free membership to senior members. We also off the County Association the use of the Range for their competitions.

General Village And SPORTS PROVISION

We provide and maintain facilities and coaching for the sport of rowing, sculling and coxing for women and girls in our community. We do this by running Try-days and rowing courses, with rowing at weekends and during the week. We run indoor fitness training during the winter evenings. We run an annual regatta for men, women and juniors (13-18 years). We are open to all, regardless of ability.

The Charity's objects are the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benifit of the inhabitants of Meopham and the surrounding area, by the provision of facilities for playing junior, youth and senior Association Football.

Empowering individuals to conquer their dreams through Sailing and teamwork. Available to disabled and disadavatnaged people. We also ensure that people get to participate in racing at high profile events.

Summer / Xmas Fairs, Ladies Indulgence evening, Golf day, Curry Night, Quiz night, Cake Sales, all organised to raise money for the school - used to refurbish the school hallOrganised / funded Xmas Panto and Valentine Disco for the children .

The Yeovil Lions organise annual localised events to raise funds for local and national purposes, such as the annual Beer Festival, Golf day, Quiz nights, Ladies Lunch and other fund raising events.

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Brookvale and the neighbourhood of Basingstoke, to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. The Village Hall is hired out and BCA supports many groups - mum & baby: retirement: gardening: sports etc

We serve the local communities with a venue to utilise for activities. We hire out the hall for private functions and run regular activities such as badminton, Morris dancing, salsa, exercise and dance groups.

The Charity administers and maintains two Village Halls and is the landlord for Biddenden Squash Club, Biddenden Tennis Club, Biddenden Juniours Football Club and Biddenden Bowls Club

The Provision of a Recreation Ground for the benefit of the Inhabitants (and in particular, but not exclusively, members of the past Mining Community) of the area of benefit, without distinction of Political, Religious, or other opinions, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said Inhabitants.We incorporate Brass Band,Bowling,Football,Rugby & Boxing/Exercise Gym Facilities.

Blackburn United engages with young people aged 4 to adults, predominantly residing from Blackburn, to provide sporting activities. Many of the children have not taken part in sport at this level before. With this in mind, the club in the past couple of years has put in place several initiatives to ensure that young people are able to fulfil their potential and skill in a competitive context.

Promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefits of the inhabitants of Whitley Bay by the provision of facilities for playing rugby football.

Providing support and development opportunities to young people. Activities include: - Marching Band - drums and bugles - Annual Camp - Football - Swimming - Duke of Edinburghs' Awards - National Competitions under the Boys Brigade UK- Fund raising for a new Mini Bus through Garden parties, Christmas / Spring Fayres

Nationally recognised qualifications including RYA power boating and sailing; Seamanship; Offshore power boating and sailing; Pulling; Marine Engineering; Cook/steward; BCU canoeing; Full Bore Shooting; Leadership and First Aid.Courses, camps and competitions. Attending events in and around the community, such as, Lincoln Water Festival, Battle of Britain and Remberence Ceremonies.

To promote sports and helth improving activities in the village of Copthorne and surrounding areas.

Weekly coffee mornings,Monthly Boot Fairs, Fashion show and Christmas Fayre, Facilities used by local groups including Tai Chi, Yoga, Line Dancing,Short Mat Bowls, Photo club, Bowling Club and Parish Council. Intermittent parties, weddings, caravan clubs and now 13 Dog clubs use our facilities.
