Leisure Charities That specialise in Sports

The object of the charity is to advance the education of the pupils at Gorazde Primary School by providing and assisting in provision of facilities not provided by the local education authority. This is through mental, physical and moral capabilities learned through sporting and leisure activities.

The charity is responsible for managing the village hall to provide a place for recreation, educational or/and social purposes for the local communities of Felindre, Beguildy and the surrounding rural hamlets and villages. It provides a valuable resource to the local community suporting Teme Valley YFC, Felindre W.I, Beguildy Community Council, Keep Fit Club, Art club and short mat bowls club.

Kingston Little League objective is to provide organised football to both boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 15 years. No-one is picked on ability; we give equal opportunity to play as long as they want to. We provide a safe environment for children to enjoy their football and have fun with their friends.

TO PROVIDE RECREATIONAL FACILITIES FOR THE VILLAGES OF GREAT AND LITTLE BEALINGS. HALL USED BY LOCAL CLUBS AND ORGANISATIONS.REFURBISHED PLAYING FIELD WITH NEW MULTI-SPORT PITCH.

We provide football coaching and matches for Young people aged 3 years old up to 17 years old in the Farringdon area of Sunderland 5 days a week all by qualified coaches upto at least level 1 football coach.Our Group also focus on improving Healthy living and Obesity also to help young people cope with Mental health issues and if Needed to point them in right direction for professional help .

Community Sports

Our mission is to allow our young members explore the wide range of activities that are available to them; From a simple hiking through to a sport or camping and associated scouting activities.

The provision of a village hall with a stage, kitchen and 2 other rooms for the use of the local community and others for social, sporting and educational activities.The second room is on continual hire to 'Pre-school' this arrangement has made the main hall available for further hiring to the village and this has been taken up to the benefit of the village.

Promotion of sport in the local community

Parish Hall provides a facility for sports, social and educational activities for all ages and abilities to people living in the local communities.

Sea Cadets is voluntary uniformed youth organisation which offers a range of largely free activities from sailing, canoeing, rock climbing, engineering, IT communications, music and cookery. We aim to encourage good citizenship and provide worthwhile qualifications, experience and adventure for young people. Cadets have the opportunity to learn life skills whilst having fun and making friends.

Provides former coal mining communities in and around Kiveton Park with sports, recreational and social facilities

Fundraising (e.g. Christmas Carol Service, Disco Ball and Raffle, Ceilidh Dance Night, Run Jericho etc.); Improving school facilities and equipment (e.g. outdoor playground, IT equipment, sports provisions etc.); Subsidising school activities (e.g. School trips, Christmas Pantomime, Year 6 Leavers Gifts etc.)

Rossendale Rays' Charitable Objects are to provide water-based sports, cycling and access to other sports for members with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, in order to benefit their health & well being. Our inclusive weekly sessions attract an average of 100 SEND members including parents, family members and carers from Rossendale, Lancashire and the surrounding area.

To provide recreational facilities for all age groups of either sex, also arrange social functions for the local community.

Activities in the hall include a pre-school, a toddlers group, private parties, jumble sales, coffee mornings, sequence dancing, scottish dancing, pilates classes and karate clubs.

The Charity provides facilities for recreation, education and leisure for the residents of Utkinton and its locality. It provides space for indoor and outdoor sports, children's parties, Yoga, Dancing, Pilates, W.I., Parish Council, School events.

The Committee exists to oversee water activity training for members of the Scout and Guide Associations in Kent, East Sussex and south-east London. We run sailing, canoeing, kayaking and windsurfing courses during the summer months at Bewl Reservoir. We also run a coastal sailing course at Whitstable and a white water kayaking course in Wales each year.

Youth training, Seamanship, Good citizenship, Boating, Navigation, Communications, Drill, Camping and various sports.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilities for participating in paddle-sport and associated water-sports.

Provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for education, recreation, sport and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of Bettisfield and its surrounding area.

THE PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY IS THE ORGANISATION OF CHARITABLE EVENTS TO RAISE FUNDING TO BE UTILISED FOR THE RELIEF OF THE POOR AND NEEDY AND FOR ANY OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANISATION THROUGH CASH GRANTS OR THE PROVISION OF GOODS AND SERVICES.
