Leisure Charities That specialise in Sports

The charity seeks to grow the ministries at its base. The charity supports Christian mission partners in India, including visiting those partners.

Leuva Patidar Samaj of Leicester (LPSL) is a Hindu based community based in Leicester whose purpose is to further the Hindu Religion in its community by organising and funding religious events. LPSL also provides relief of poverty to members in the community through various activities, including elderly lunch clubs, organised gatherings, sports, recreation and social support.

Our activities include an annual May Fayre, Car Boot Sales, Charity Golf Day, organisation of the Christmas Festival Parade. These events all raise money which we donate to local charities or to people/organisations in the area of New Milton who have made a request to the New Milton Lions Club . We also donate to a disaster fund which is run by Lions Club International

The Cerne Abbas Village Hall is the focus for the many and varied activities enjoyed by the local community. It provides a modern and well-equipped facility which is used by all local clubs and societies and for many indoor sporting and fitness activities. It is used by all sections of the community and is indispensible for the maintenance of a strong and active local community spirit.

Pevensey Memorial Hall is for the use of the community. The hall is hired out for Ballroom Dancing, Modern Sequence Dancing, Indoor Bowls, Guides and Brownies. Bingo is held every Friday evening and the Hall is hired out at any other available time for various functions. The Hall also produces a 32 page glossy covered magazine, The Parish Pump,distributed free to 5000 homes, three times a year.

To provide a youth club for children and young people aged 7 years to 17 years, providing them with a variety of activities, including sport, cookery, computers, photography, dancing and music, drama. To arrange visits to other locations for activities which are not available locally.

We try to give children experience of a range of outdoor and adventurous activities as well as some indoor ones like swimming, music, computing and collecting.

The charity provides a facility for local residents to undertake a variety of activities ranging from childcare, sports, dance, club and other recreational functions.

The Bowling Club is financed from Members funding.We offer help and opportunity to young and disabled people to persue this sporting activity.We raised funds to provide our clubhouse and green.The non profit making club is funded by subscriptions,raffles, events etc.Our new clubhouse is available for public letting and enhances our activities with off season indoor bowls and social evenings.

Administration of coaching and competitions for archers in the Region.

We provide a clean safe community centre, with disable access, a disabled toilet complete with baby changing facility, and an adjoining open field containing a youth shelter, basketball net, a football practice wall, a football pitch, cricket square, and two tennis courts with floodlights, which are available for use by all sectors of the community.

We offer the opportunity to row traditional Cornish Pilot Gigs for exercise and fun, and also competitively from our bases in Richmond on the west side of London and the Royal Docks Adventure in the east. Crews from the club race both in the UK and abroad. We are a friendly, open club and offer trying out gig rowing for free.

We meet once a week and we either have a talk off a local business or organisation. We also do activities and have out visits. Also sports activities.

We are a Youth Centre open for any young person aged 13 - 25 years in the Adur Area. Activities at present include: Sports i.e. football, table tennis, pool, dodge ball; arts and crafts, dance, music, tv, junior leader training, educational training.

We are a youth football club in the Eastcote area of Hillingdon, training children from 5 - 16 years old.

Village hall offering space for activities for those within the village and surrounding areas. Typical usage is: clubs, sports, meetings, parties, voting etc. hall is hired out at rates depending on activity.

Gymnastics classes for children and adults.

The charity built and maintains the village hall and playing fields on leased land at Didmarton for use by the local community. It also runs community events and supports local clubs and associations such as the cricket club and the playgroup.

RHSF operate generally in the Borough of Rochdale and supports the local community to enjoy healthy sporting activity, particularly Rugby League, promote health and education and support our community to reach their full potential

The charity exists to provide leisure and sport activities for the whole community of Tregaron and surrounding area.

lOOKS AFTER APPROXIMATELY 10 ACRES OF LAND WHICH IS SPLIT INTO 4 SECTIONS, 3 ARE USED BY A BOWLS CLUB, CRICKET CLUB AND TENNIS CLUB, THE OTHER IS CURRENTLY UNUSED AND MAINTAINED AND CUT BY AN OUTSIDE CONTRACTOR.

Provides facilities for social activities for the local population as well as the playing of some indoor sports such as badminton, short mat bowls. It is also used for a children's play group.

We provide rooms for hire by the general public and organisations for, dancing, parties, concerts, craft fairs, car boot sales, sports such as Judo, short mat bowls, adult education classes,lectures, recreation, art and business meetings etc.

Events, classes and clubs organised by the residents of the village of Horspath. This includes classes for Yoga, Pilates, Art and Craft, table tennis, computer confidence, line dancing and a film club. There is a community cafe, we have lost our post office .The hall has talks, anniversary celebrations, children's birthday parties, a local produce market.Horspath is just outside Oxford City

We support projects primarily in the UK and Africa that have an identifiable end to them, usually at a low value. We are keen to support local sporting clubs and activities, charities working with young people or in deprived areas and projects encouraging self-sufficiency in the third world. We also actively aim to support charities with links to the legal profession.
