The Platypus Swimming Club helps & encourages the handicapped of all ages, both physically & mentally and those in need of remedial treatment to get into the water, exercise, relax and generally have a nice time. The members range from very young with congenital disabilities to those with learning difficulties, accident and stroke-victims and 80 year olds suffering simply from the effects of age.
