This includes extra equipment for the whole school to benefit from, outdoor equipment and the gifts for the children that leave at the end of year six,

IT'S OBJECT IS TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION IN THE DIOCESE OF ST ALBANS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE HOLDING OF PRAYER MEETINGS, LECTURES, PRODUCING AND/OR DISTRIBUTING LITERATURE ON THE CHRISTIAN FAITH AND THE CELEBRATION OF CHRISTIAN FESTIVALS, TO ENLIGHTEN OTHERS ABOUT CHRISTIANITY.

The object of the charity is the provision of items, services and facilities for the school.

Our primary activity is supporting the school staff and fundraising (events, cake sales, refreshments, sponsorship, recycled textiles, online shopping links, etc.). The money raised is spent on material and equipment for classrooms and extra-curricular clubs, coach trips and sporting activities, social events for the children, leavers' gifts and prizes.

The Friends of St Francis School is an association that has been such an integral part of the school community for many years. In its time the Friends have raised many thousands of pounds through fundraising events i.e. Christmas and Summer Fayres, these funds have been spent on improving equipment and resources to enhance our children's education and the facilities in the school in general.
