The relief of any financially needy clergy and their families (or former) licensed or with PTO (permission to officiate) from the Bishop of Bath and Wells within the Church of England ,Archdeaconry of Bath, Diocese of Bath and Wells.Also any financially needy widows, widowers or partners, along with their children, of deceased clergy, who before they died were last licensed in the Area Deaneries

The object of the CIO is The advancement of the Christian gospel and faith within the Diocese of Worcester by administering and maintaining Churches or Ecclesiastical Buildings licensed for public worship in accordance with the Christian faith as received by the Church of England.

Education/training of children and adults; work related to Roman Catholic Church; provision of retreats and other pastoral works; outreach work; relief of poverty; overseas mission work; caring for members of the Institute

To further the charitable work of the Church of England in the parish of Colemans Hatch East Sussex by:-(a) augmenting the endowment of the Holy Trinity Church;(b) the repair, maintenance, upkeep, improvement and insurance against, fire and other risks of the church and its furniture and ornaments; and(c) care and maintenance of any churchyard and buildings in the area of benefit.

Furthering the general religious and charitable purposes of the Quakers in Britain and beyond by activities including: the provision or facilitation of conferences, lectures and other educational activities; the provision of a meeting space to encourage peaceful discourse and conflict resolution; the holding of prayer meetings, spiritual retreats and other acts of worship.

The Charity makes grants to organisations that operate in South Tyneside and can subscribe to the Church of England Evangelical Basis of Faith, for the purpose of promoting the Christian faith.
