The Charitable Trust has funds from an endowment invested to produce an annual return. Income is passed to Southrepps PCC to help it meet St James' Church, Southrepps expenses and Southrepps Parish Share which is paid to the Diocese of Norwich. Trustees also consider requests for assistance which help to further the religious and other local charitable work of the C of E.

The object of the charity is to further the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the parish of West Grinstead.

The chapel is Roman Catholic a semi public oratory mass is celebrated every Sunday and on Holy days. All services are open to the public the chapel is available for weddings, baptism and funerals. Collections are regularly for the benefit of other charities such as Cafod.

The Catholic Voices projects trains ordinary Catholics to speak on the news media about controversial topics related to the Catholic Church, and helps to place them on news programmes.
