Religion Charities That specialise in Church of england

The charity funds two Bible prizes to year six pupils at Wheldrake with Thorganby C of E Aided Primary School. The pupils who enter have to learn and then recite two Bible passages and answer questions.

CHURCH OF ENGLAND CHURCH

The charity provides funds to Clutton Church of England Primary School, part of The Samara Trust.

The Banbury Bluecoat Foundation issues school clothing vouchers for children of parents on income support or the equivalent. It also makes grants to Church of England Sunday schools and to other educational activities in the town.

Providing financial support for Broadbottom C of E School (or Mottram C of E School) in areas which would not normally be supported financially by the LEA.

Advancement of education in i) CofE parishes of Gt & Lt Shelford and ii) Diocese of Ely, by way of: maintenance of any CofE (voluntary) school in either parish, provision of educational/ sports equipment not normally provided by the LEA.

The Trust offers financial support to groups and individuals wishing to undertake activities in Sweden, England or elsewhere which express and enhance the link between the Church of England and the Swedish Church, formalised under the Porvoo agreement. Much of the Trust's work is done in conjunction with the Diocese of Oxford.

Financial support for poor and needy people within the area covered by the parishes of Southborough St Thomas and the Southborough Team Ministry

Distribution of grants to the 18 churches which currently comprise the Church of England Liverpool South Deanery for the purpose of supporting their mission and growth.

To promote the religious, educational and charitable work of the Church of England by acquiring, preserving, maintaining and developing the Chapel of S. Mary and S. Nicolas, located at Lancing College, and also thereby to benefit the local and national community.

Supporting financially the work and worship of the sunday school/youth group at Holy Trinity Parish Church in Eckington and Eckington Church of England First School's worship.

THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO CHURCH OF ENGLAND PARISHES WITHIN THE DEANERY AND/OR LONDON BOROUGH OF HOUNSLOW TO ENABLE THE PROMOTION OF CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY AS AN EXPRESSION OF SOCIAL CONCERN.

St Mary's CofE School Appeal Fund exists to support St Mary's CofE Voluntary Aided Primary School, Walthamstow;to provide for the Governors' liability for repairs, extensions and improvements to the School and to advance the education of the pupils at the School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities not provided by the Local Education Authority.

In December 2020 we gave £52 to St Mary's Church towards children's work and general upkeep of the church.
