Jalalia Jaame Mosque was established in 1971 and continues to be used by the ever-growing community as a place for solace and spiritual development. The Mosque can accommodate up to 1500 worshippers and offers a range of services from daily prayers to education and funeral services for the community.

Marden Parochial Church Council is the body empowered by the Canterbury Diocese to support the incumbent of St Michael & All Angels Church, Marden in the ministry of the Anglican Church in Marden. It is also responsible for safeguarding the fabric of the church and for overseeing the finances of the church by monitoring income and expenditure and the annual budget.

We are a church committed to spreading the good news of Jesus Christ to the local community of Weymouth and surrounding area. The charity provides Islamic education in accordance with Quran and ahadith in the local community within the bound of the mosque. It also provides facilities to the community for the religious and social gatherings.

The charity has provided emergency relief for several thousand refugees, in the form of financial support. These families and individuals have escaped Iraq leaving their homes and possessions behind. This funding has provided them with food, heating and essential medical care.

The purposes of the Church are the advancement of the Christian faith in accordance with the Basis of Faith primarily but not exclusively within Bakewell and the surrounding villages, farms and hamlets that make up the Peak District National Park and the surrounding neighbourhood.

The Quaker Tapestry is an exhibition of 77 embroidered panels made by 4,000 people from 15 countries between 1981 and 1996. The modern community textile project depicts the social and political context in which Quakerism developed from 1652 to the present day. Since 1994 it has been housed in Kendal's historic Quaker Meeting House and constitutes one of the largest community textiles in the world.

We are a Christian Church that serves the communities of Birmingham and beyond. We run a local pantry in South Aston which is a preventative approach to food poverty, reducing the risk of household hunger.

We meet for public worship twice each Sunday and Communion is observed twice a month; there is teaching for young people during morning worship.
