We gather at different times and on different days of the week as part of one church family. We are part of the Church of England and, with other local churches, members of the wider Christian community in Hyde Park, Wrangthorn and Woodhouse.

Chelmsford Hindu Society runs various Hindu cultural and religious events through out the year. As there are no Hindu Community Centre or a place of worship within 20 miles radius from Chelmsford in Essex, we also hire a place where the Hindu community could meet and exchange and practice their religious and cultural traditions.

The purposes are:The advancement of the Christian faith in St Albans through Bible teaching.Activities that are, in the opinion of the church members, consistent with the Christian faith: relief of hardship of those in need; the education and social welfare of those known to church members. We continued to provide free audio CDs (in different Languages: Urdu, English, Arabic & Kurdish) to Muslims and Non-Muslims, explaining our Religion of Islam and clarifying any misunderstanding.
