Herringthorpe United Reformed Church exists to promote the mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic and social. We strive to offer opportunities for worship and involvement to all who live in the area served by the church. We seek to identify the needs of various groups of people - children, older people, families, young people, the socially isolated, and make specific provision for them.

The Church is set up for the benefit of members of the Church and the public living in Aspley, Nottingham in order to promote and explore the Christian faith. In particular, those benefiting in the community will be local families and young people as well as the missionaries the church supports on a regular basis financially in Italy and New Zealand.

The charity is a church promoting the Christian Faith to those resident in Suffolk. It also carries out mission activity in Africa and is helping to establish churches there.

Make prison visits & also provide ongoing contact/support to those men after release. Provide personal financial planning through running the Money Course using materials/training provided by CAP.

Teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. Promoting the mission of the Church through provision of activities for senior citizens, parents and toddlers and special need groups. Supporting charities in the UK and overseas.

It seeks to demonstrate the Christian faith in action by proclaiming the Gospel and meeting needs in the Leicester area.

Place of worship and community centre

The activities of the Trust is to provide additional funds to support the work of Mitcham lane Baptist Church CIO (registration 1161743).

We aim to introduce people to the love of God shown through Jesus Christ, to encourage those who already know God's love to keep trusting in that and to demonstrate God's love in practical acts of kindness. Activities include: regular Sunday worship services, ladies meetings, bible studies, prayer meetings, coffee morning, children's groups, youth group, toddler group, a service in a care home.

The activities of the Church are undertaken to advance the Christian religion. We organise meetings in our building and elsewhere to give the whole community opportunities to worship God and pray and study the Bible together. We also meet to encourage one another in Christian discipleship, including evangelism and mission, charitable social action, and engagement with the local Calne community.

The Methodist Church Barnsley South seeks to share the gospel of Christ in the communities it serves. It maintains a Christian presence in the communities of Birdwell, Darfield Wesley, Great Houghton, Hoyland, Pilley, Valley Darfield and Wombwell by holding regular Christian worship, groups to study the bible & Christian principles and running activities to support the community.

Religious Activities

The principal purpose of the Church is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist denomination. The Church may also advance education and carry out other charitable purposes in the United Kingdom and/or other parts of the world.
