We are a parish of the Church of England and are involved in Christian religious activities and supporting people in faith. We also provide support for other local, national and international charities, through donating approximately 10% of our income.

The charity uses its income to help fund the work of the Church of England in the Ecclesiastical Parish of Sonning

Public worship, charity support, groups catering for children, young people, older people. Fundraising for charities at home and abroad.

Weekly public Sunday services with children's activities, various midweek meetings and other ad hoc specific events. All public Sunday services and most meetings, activities and events are free of charge although for some a donation / fee is requested to cover costs.

Provision and maintenance of almshouses in Devizes, Wiltshire

St James Parochial Church Council (PCC) cooperate with the Rector in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish, the whole mission of the church, pastoral, social, evangelistic and ecumenical. The PCC is also responsible for the maintenance of the church and the adjacent Ale House (medieval hall). Activities include worship, prayer, nurture and care for the churchyard and the environment.

Provide a place for Muslim worshippers to pray and practice the religion of islam in a safe environment. To educate the Muslims young and old in theh tennents of Islam. To link the Muslim community to the rest of the community in Lambeth

The principal purpose of the Charity is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist Denomination. The Church may also advance education and carry out other charitable purposes in the United Kingdom and other parts of the world.

TO PROVIDE REGULAR ACTS OF CHRISTIAN WORSHIP EACH SUNDAY AND AT OTHER TIMES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED REFORMED CHURCH. TO OFFER PASTORAL SUPPORT TO CHURCH MEMBERS, MEMBERS OF THE CONGREGATION AND THOSE SEEKING ASSISTANCE. TO HIRE OUT THE CHURCH PREMISES WHEN AVAILABLE TO LOCAL ORGANISATIONS, BOTH CHARITABLE AND COMMERCIAL, AS A SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY AND TO RAISE INCOME.

Bar Hill Church provides facilities and leadership for Christian worship and many community activities within the village of Bar Hill and surrounding area. It provides pastoral, emotional and practical support to members.

The Charity exists to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and to teach people the bible. All our activities reflect these core goals. The Church arranges or participates in a number of activities to this end, namely Bible Confrences, Marriage Seminars, Men's Dicipleships, Revival Meetings with visiting preachers, Tent Crusades (home and abroad)

Religious Activities

Our weekly bible study meeting and fellowship groups open to all who are seeking to improve their religious education. The leadership of the church also offers religious counseling to members and the wider community.

Stour Valley Vineyard Church meets regularly to worship, pray, teach from the Bible and encourage one another. We run Storehouse - our compassion ministry including Storehouse foodbank, aiming to help local families and individuals in crisis. We run Alpha courses to help people on their journey of discovering who God is. We've also had baptisms and run numerous 'giveaways' to bless the community.
